Here's a verse to make you laugh!
You make me feel like an urban giraffe,
With a fabulously long neck,
What to do with that, by heck?
I see you far above the madding crowd,
Respect from afar is allowed,
I send you my feathered breath,
What do you do with that, by heck?
Did you know a giraffe can kiss?
For you, I pray nothing goes amiss,
A verse to you, sealed in bliss.....
I see you, far above the madding crowd,
Is respect from afar allowed?
Feedback welcome.

You talk about her
like she’s the beautiful, inky night sky,
and you stand there waiting, wanting
to be the boy to hold the stars for her.

You talk about her
like she’s the missing fraction in your body.
You can’t breathe, move, eat or sleep.
Like she’s something you cannot live without.

You talk about her
and it shows how much you’re longing
to be with her, wherever that is.
That despite the miles and hours that stop you,
it doesn’t even matter as to how much
you’re craving for her.

You talk about her
the way I see a sunrise.
There’s a glint of hope
in every word spoken.
Hopes filled with vivid imaginations
of her running back to you.

You talk about her nonstop.
She’d had your mind preoccupied
with her dubious self.
Her voice at 2AM echoing around
the corners of your brain.
Her brown eyes clear
and earnest against yours.
Her lips curled up into a smile
at the sight of you.

You talk about her
because you think about her constantly.
Like there aren’t even other things
in the universe that rattle your head
other than the thought of being next to her
and holding her hand and paying attention
to her and just.
And just being with her.

You talk about her
like you’ll never
run out of words to say. . .

You talk about her
the way I wish
you’d talk about me.

i wish you knew
how much i see
galaxies and other beautiful things in you
i wish you see
that these things i know are true
take a closer look within me

May you find peace
As you fall to pieces;
May you find light
In your darkest nights;
I wish for you the love you
Show in your sweetness;
And I wish the world might
Learn of your greatness.
You are a diamond
Still covered in soot,
Yet I see the gleam that
Gives way to the truth.
If I acted selfishly, I might
Chain you around my neck
But that would be a crime,
And serve as a tragic mistake;
Instead, I’ll leave you, free
As I watch from afar,
Mesmerized in your gift
That you share with everything,
In the simplest form
Of a smile.

I'd rather keep you safe
Than steal you.

There are feelings
that we should not feel,
like the songs
we are not suppose to sing.

There are words
that we should not say,
like a curse
hanging from the tip of our tongues.

There are eyes
that we should not stare for so long
because we might fall deep
and never get up again.

In loving someone
it must be free
but the restrictions I made
will be just fine.

You’re the prettiest
You are the cutest
And if I had to make a new word
It would be beautifulest

You’re the most charming
You are amazing
And why I find you pretty and sweet
I would say that you’re my heart’s beat

I see you grin from ear to ear
And dissolve into laughter
But I know you’re still stick in a labyrinth
Where you’re drown in pain

When you smile (cry)
When you laugh (break down)
I want my presence to be with you
And stop the skies for turning into blue

If you place your heart in my hand
I will keep it safe for me
I will cherish, care, protect, love
And treat it compassionately

I imagine that you’re like a glass
A glass that can easily be broken
And I want it on me to last
So that I can guard it even until the end

You as a woman is fragile
When broken into pieces, it’s painful to clean up
You may stick it up, but you’ll notice
The cracks still remain

I want to collapse into you
When your heart is bursting
And I want to hold you
When your bones are chilling

Everything on you is labeled fragile
And I don’t want to break anything on it
I just want to handle you with all my care
You are precious, you are wonderful.. Ever

and the best i could do
is stare from afar,
gaze at those obsidian eyes
and get lost inside it.

i want to push myself onto you
and spout a few words,
but my rusty tongue will never work
whenever i face a beauty like you

so i'll go back to staring at perfection
a beauty in its purest form
that it burns my very soul

I speak a thousand words in a glance, Propose to you in a text, generally be the guy I was meant to be.
And you still love me for me.
What is it that keeps you close to me? Is it my pretend swag? My book sense? My love of expression? My eyes? All of the above, or more likely, none? I don’t know why and I don’t know how, but I won’t concern myself with it.
I love you too, although I don’t say it much and I can’t assume you kow. But it’s true, I love you too much to let you go, do too much to consider having a way out of the ways that we love each other.
~signed the lover from afar.
just another entry in the poetry journal. I'm not sure if I submitted this before, but I doubt it.

Enshrouded in mist,
far flung shores requite nothing.
Lonely eyes watch hushed.

"Look up, meteors!"

Closed eyes, one wished
Heads lifted,twinkles falling
Slowly in the mid-night sky, there…
All fading..

One’s mind which predicted,
Scene so vivid, noticed untimely.
Never it is, that eyes would see
sparkles of light above the seas

Who yelled? gratitude given
Without such, truth is hidden
"Now look!" and twice you did.
(Never a freewill, or is?), “Look!”

One wished, someone yelled
It’s never one that did…
In light years they were burning
But here, it is smoothing

All is none, if no one said
Wishing well would never spell
Go back in time, now reflect
if stars do fall, when and where?
