"Don't let madness corrupt you." A wise man once said, but it is impossible not to be corrupted when you're as dark as insanity itself.

I wage war
That's never been seen before
Is sanity worth fighting for?
I'm not really sure

Insanity?
A calamity?
I call it individuality!

Who is Society
To create this hypocrisy?!?
It seems like such a tragedy
To waste such ingenuity
To dull the creativity

With the brightest colors you've seen
But she hides them behind her back
For they tell where she has been...

At  night she can be found
Writing metaphors from her heart
For her head, deep in the ground,
Has a secret tearing her apart.

*Dear butterfly, spread your wings
There's a world out there for you,
What you're feeling, all these things
Aren't healthy for us two.

Remember the smallest of things,
The inside jokes
The best sunsets
The warmest smiles
And the people who gave them;
For one day you will realize they left
And the person who said to be a friend
Is the one pushing you aside from the crowd,
*And you can no longer see the sunsets,
But a pale dark sky hugging your thought.
Is it love or is it lies?
Perhaps both, or neither,
Inflamed by need,
Quenched by self,
Swollen with desire.
Imagination fans the fire
Until the floorboards creak outside my door
- Then I brink for her no more.
She-bob, he-bop, a we-bop
Black eyes on the horizon;
Ominous cries start
As souls start writhing;
Faces disguising;
Ink lies reflecting grey skies,
Causing natural disasters
Wherever they hide.
~~ You lied to protect yourself from the nightmares, I lied to free people from their nightmares. ~~

I knew she was sad --
Not because there were
tears in her eyes
But because there were
Grey clouds in them
Swirling chaos in her mind
Thorns around her throat
Poison in her heart
And a tired smile
On her bleeding lips
And the love she knew
Never thought that
She's really that sad
