The day had come when lovers had to say goodbye
Bid a piece of smile and wave a little hand
She thought that their love was so real
Yet ended up being strangers to each

Weeks had passed and you are still there
In her little mind that is full of moments
Moments that you had shared together
Moment that you should have cherished together.

It's been a while since her heart was so alone
And now, she had learned something new
That no one could fix her broken soul
But only she could do it, if she only knew.

There you are in a picture of joy
The smile in your eyes giving birth to my own
There you are in the hole in my heart
Filling the void and sealing the fissures
There you are in my archives of pain
Burning the pages of those useless emotions
There you are in the doubt in my mind
Pointing out all the reasons i can
There you are in my eyes in the mirror
Showing me there is beauty to be seen
There you are in the cracks in my soul
Giving me light to guide my path
And I open my eyes to see you are here
The reality of a dream I never dreamt
For I could not fathom the existence of an angel of my very own

She's like flames in your heart and ice on bare skin and the finest creation built of heaven and sin

(how do you even know all of this?)

A smile like ambrosia
leaves you with nothing but
Amnesia

And an unsettled mind

You know nothing of her
But the shape of the prints
Her lips have left
On the side of your neck
Dunno what this is

Your mind is like an ocean
that I want to spend all my time
exploring

Your mind is like the sun
I think of your thoughts in the same way
I think of rays
They spread
from you to me

Your mind is like a tree in the autumn
Thoughts scattered all over your brain
the same way leaves are scattered
around my front yard

Your mind is like that puzzle I can't seem to solve
and I think I might like that
The fun in you is that there's always
something new to understand

Your mind is like that new album I have on replay
because no matter what I do
I always seem to replay pieces of you
in my mind
over and over again
I love your mind, you're a mystery I'll never solve.

your eyes are deeper than any poetry i've ever read.
i've tried to write them in six-word poems
but it can never quite capture their depth.
i've tried rhymes
and sonnets
and haikus
but i end up dreaming of them instead.

i'm lying on the roof
looking at the stars in the skies
and wish i were looking
at the ones in your eyes.

To you
I was an object of
pure lust
I was never enough
to be worth your
affection

To you
It was about the
lace on my bra
and the size
of my *******

To you
I was like your *** toy
and you wanted to spend all your time
playing with me

To you
It was about my thighs
and focusing on what was
between them

To you
I was expected to be a woman of seduction
and spend all my time pleasing you

To you
It was about my long legs
and what it'd take for you
to be able to run your hands
up and down them

To you
It was never about anything more than
the ****** attraction
It didn't matter what I did
or how hard I tried
You would never love me

SOME PEOPLE COME INTO
YOUR LIFE AND LEAVE
WITHOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
BUT YOU, OH YOU AND YOUR
DIMPLES SMILE LEFT AN
IMPRINT ON MY BLACKENED
SOUL. EVEN IF YOU LEAVE,
I WILL REMEMBER EACH AND
EVERY CONVERSATION WE HAD.
I WILL LOOK BACK AT THEM
AND SMILE. BECAUSE THAT'S
WHAT YOU DO BEST,
MAKING ME SMILE.
WHETHER YOU ARE HERE
OR NOT

you
OH BUT YOU'RE SO *******
OUT OF REACH AND I WILL
NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH
FOR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL
LIKE YOU. BECAYSE THAT'S
WHAT YOU ARE TO ME,
AN ANGEL THAT LIGHTS UP
THE DARKNESS
CLOUDING MY SOUL.
AND GOD, I LOVE YOU MORE
THAN THIS ****** UP MESS
OF WORDS WILL EVER
BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE.

I’m so afraid to tell her I love her
so I only do it when I’m drunk,
or we’re drunk together
and still the words nervously tremble
they shake like orange leaves in autumn
and the wind doesn’t carry them
they just fall, quietly and unnoticed
becoming just a nuisance
to later be packed
into black plastic bags
and thrown to the curb.
