Remember what I said last night?
Neither do I
I felt my belly, there was no kick
I had too much to drink
Left my feelings in the sink
In ugly bitter patterns
It's been 9 months
I still ache for this
What I'd be filled with
Nausea from a life
instead of a loss
If things worked out right

Physics:                                                               Love:
It's not the fall that kills                          It's not falling in love that kills
The fall is actually                                          The fall is actually
                 exhilarating                                                         thrilling
                 invigorating                                                      intoxicating
                 breathtaking                                                       vitalizing
         it's when you've finally                                    it's when you've finally
hit the ground                                                  reached the end
that kills you                                                     that kills you.
if there's one thing I've learned from physics that can be poetic...
.
We were whole, once
Ordered, balanced: one
Disorder grows; time emerges
Time elapses; disorder grows
Entropy
Pulls us apart, away
Farther from the state
The unlikely state
Where we were whole

Peninsula
When we've turned to past
And all our memories turn
To vicious whirlwinds
: Untouchable
Aftermaths of aftermaths of flames,
Of which we were the arsonists--
Even with our senses impaired--
I'll still come back to you.

Watching DC and ****
The way his fingers moved over the ivory keys
Notes pouring from his hands left me in awe
"Sing" he urges so I do, voice, piano, and
Laughter like a symphony of our own kind
The intimacy of the moment is so thick
it threatens to burst out of the room
and consume the whole world in love
I forgot for a moment to keep my guard up
I forgot that I should be weary of this
That I should be cautious of anything
I let myself be engulfed by the love
we shared and I let the intimacy
of that moment consume my world.

The music plays
The piano
The saxophone
You dance
Grace
Poise
Joy
Harmony
Piano and saxophone
You and motion
This moment
and my emotion
merged
as one.
you pretended to be a real musician
following the papers given to you
pressing keys you had learned back then
but once you were forced on stage you knew
that for this you weren't ready
the crowd stares at you
like you're something they need to study
you hear the once steady beat
turn into a nightmarish feat
the pounding of heart drums
echo in the air
soon the crowd turn to none
and you're left with an instrument that was never there
idk man
Tangled sheets veneer past night
Wine smudges cover my dear walls
You are not here anymore;
What is pink? a rose is pink
By the fountain's brink.
What is red? a poppy's red
In its barley bed.
What is blue? the sky is blue
Where the clouds float thro'.
What is white? a swan is white
Sailing in the light.
What is yellow? pears are yellow,
Rich and ripe and mellow.
What is green? the grass is green,
With small flowers between.
What is violet? clouds are violet
In the summer twilight.
What is orange? why, an orange,
Just an orange!
