Pride of innocence
Uncrowned King Jul 2023
She has a touch of innocence in her
The kind you don't see quite often

In this world full of pretense
She's the only thing that is true

The troubles she has been through
Just to build these high walls around her

So instead of me crashing down on her
I'm here, to help her reinforce this barrier

Make it more comfortable
Give it more strength

Accompany her whenever she ever feels out of place
But allowing her to feel secure

Considering my heart will also break
If she ever put her heart at stake

I'd like to take her away
But being inside this fort

Is also the safest I can be

She said, "You're safe with me",
and I replied, "As I should be."

I abandoned my armor,
have furloughed my sorrow

Thinking maybe, "this is it."
I kept stealing glimpses of you

Your eyes were glimmering of intense allurement
While your lips turn into a waxing crescent.

Deflected all of my contradictions,
Turning you as my self-acclaimed addiction

I then went to war against my heart,
Almost bled to death too bad it's not my time yet

As I navigate through the fogginess of my mind
I realized that it's the darkness that kills the blind

I left it all out in the dark
And now we're left again to find a new spark

My little umbrella ☔
Uncrowned King Mar 2023
My little umbrella
You kept me dry from the rain
But you don't how much I adore them

My little umbrella
You kept me shaded from the sun
But you don't know how much I enjoy the burn

My little umbrella
You got tired of waiting for me
But you don't know how much I was uncovering too

My little umbrella
You went away when the night came
But you don't know how much I love your presence

My little umbrella
You're never coming back, aren't you?
But I never got the chance to tell you how much I feel for you

My little umbrella
You were all the things that I was looking for
But I'm sorry if I couldn't see through

As I stare to the unascertained
Your face, still tainted on my brain
With the music you've left
Made wretchedness out of the Astaire

Repressed by all the madness
Crippled to take a step to have this dance
This new-found glory
Made us just all weary

They all shouted my name with honor
Synonymously with hatred
And as I have said, I've tried
They took a deep breath, and deflated with a roaring sigh

What is intention without emotion?
A self-fulfilling satisfaction?
A denial of ones true purpose?
Could be just another deception

A beautiful performance
A pretentious guilt
I was never a dancer
But you've always been a believer

I did all this just to save you from the fall

Light of the universe
Uncrowned King Feb 2023
The light has become dimmer
It feels like it's going away

No. It's going far away.
Away from all the noise

From the dark,
looking for another spark

because this light is smart,
it won't be consumed by nonsense

You're a fool to fall for it's likeness--
It strives beyond darkness

The warmth it omits
will only be given if it permits

I was lucky to have touched
Its ultraviolet C rays

It burned for a while
but the pain was pleasing

Until I felt nothing
because it's gone.

Maybe, the light is pessimistic?
It has its own flaws.

or rather,
damaged from it's own thoughts

Could be from the past?
from other bodies?

It hides a void that has amassed.

I wasn't looking,
The doors were closed,

The windows were latched,
Everything was cinched by a belt

But still,
You came in

Slipping through the cracks of my heart
Binding my soul—

With all that you are,
With all that I'm not.

Making me feel that I'm whole again

A ballad of me and you
Uncrowned King Dec 2022
You are authentic
and classical

You disguised your emotions in symphony
Hoping maybe someone can hear it;

I do.

However, I'm startled
As my frequency tend to be deranged

I'm afraid that I may damage your tune—
you may end up abandoning me so soon

And leaving my hymn in the blues.

Your voice will always resonate with me
Almost like an opera that's also in acapella

A peculiar interpretation,
These feelings are just demented.

Moonstrucked by your lullabies,
The way you orchestrate my senses

It makes my heart flutter, I despise it.
this is still a draft

In amidst of my own chaos
A beacon of hope came to light

Too bright that it hurts to look at,
Too hollow to know what it feels like

But, there's this warmth that succumbs my heart
Inch by inch, the feeling feels akin

You make me feel alive and dead at the same time
Maybe tomorrow is another day to try

A creature that could've existed.

A lot of people tried,
A lot of men pursued

No one came close—
In discovering you.

My love is ominous

You never know,

But it's always there

I am

And forever will be

Loving you

In your deepest

And darkest hours.

Im like the moon

Who creeps out

Just to see your lips

Turn into a crest.

The crisp of your bear naked skin

Is glinting like a spectrum of colors

How can one

Render such beauty

In a world full of messy

Lonely as the streets at night
You brought me a hopeful light

You enkindled the moon
And lit the stars for me

Being alone was always a pleasure
But you made me feel as if the world owe me

But it's the other way around
I owe the world for setting you up to me

I have doubted all the things in this world
But you've built another one for me

It isn't the most perfect
But with your touch everything is flawless

My consumed mind with nothing but foolishness
With just one smile you turned everything off

Babe, you are the heaven to my hell
The only thing i would cling to

The only light that i will follow through

I'm becoming reckless
But you are too selfless
It's been a while

She's not made for this world
She deserves nothing but love
But she's already full of it—
She's gold-flowing!
Too soft to be touched,
Too fragile to be held,
And too transparent to be seen.
Her self-love is doubtful
Though she's overflowing with love,
She care too much
For the wrong people
Only if she could see
What she's made of
Only if I could make her see
What her worth is
She could devour her remorse and escape,
Runaway and save herself from this unworthy world
Even if it means not being with me

All I could hear was silence
And then everything went transparent
Your eyes got me stranded
They're in pain, i can't stand it
You said you were being haunted
By the memories you never wanted
Every word you bled was perfect
Your imperfections has always been worth it

To me

I wish you could understand it
I'm here for you even if I'm unwanted
You doubted
You regretted
You were distracted
I get it
I'm always the least expected
And I know I'll never be wanted

By you
Just a quick write. Just removing words from my head

All the madness I have in me
You tamed it graciously

From blue
You turned everything into white

I'm full of hope now
But I still can't find peace

I have been thinking
Maybe you are the missing piece

But it is what it is
You were only here 'cause you needed to

I appreciate you
But you got your eyes on someone else

I don't mind really
Seeing you blissful is enough for me

Like how the moon and the stars
Has always been in the same night sky

But they have never indulged
They're just there to accompany each other

One way or another
There's no such thing as a silver lining

And that made me think
What is meant to happen to us

We're just meant to meet
But never to collide

But I would choose collision instead
I'd rather feel pain than to bleed dead

It was the most perfect night
The kind of night that you always thought about

The Prince dancing his Princess
He's lost his sense of time

He stared at her eyes for a moment
He then accidentally founded her soul

Never the Prince knew he would fall
Fall for someone who doesn't see his worth

Moon shined at them the brightest
As if it was a spotlight

The Prince was cherishing every second
Not caring what lies ahead

Stars have showered down—
Everybody then wished for their own endeavors

So did the prince
He wished for another chance

The Prince pushed his luck
It then ran out

He lost her. . .
In the amidst of his reverie
I really really like this girl and I ****** up.

You are nothing like the others
You're not the best or the worst

But all i know is,
I'm attracted to you

Every time we're on the same room
My eyes are always darting towards you

Thinking, "I have yet to know you"
But it feels like I already do

When you're near
The air becomes thicker

"It's the little things you do that makes me feel uneasy"

Just like a black hole—
Complicated but devastingly beautiful

I can't escape
I am engulfed

But the feeling can't be described
It's between peaceful and disastrous

But I'd rather have this feeling
Than to feel nothing at all
It has been a while! Hello hellopoetry!

I've met you too soon,
Too soon we were in love

But it felt so wrong in many ways,
I love you anyway.

You have decieved my stubborn heart,
Tamed my obnoxious soul,

Never have i imagined such horror—
Your smile became my hope.

But little did we know,
The universe disagreed on us

I want you so badly
But the world seemed to doubt me

It's time to go now
Thank you, i had so much fun

I know it's too soon,
But see you on our next blue moon

As if there was nobody else but us
I shoot for a kiss too bad I missed

And you,
I gazed at you
You were wonderful

You don't need an entitlement
You are already my favorite

When I'm deep asleep
You are mine to keep

But I always stay awake
Just to see your black array

Your nothingness gives me everything I need
And your silence gives me every reason to live

Everyone else is afraid of you,
Because you're too dark and dull

But that's not true
You're not nebulous, just blue.

You're not dull,
You're cool.

There is no room for insecurity
You are already perfect for me

I cling for your attention
I bring good intention

You're nothing but pure perfection
Try to see it in your own reflection

As I whisper your name
The moon dimmed and stars fell

Your name is so heavenly—
They close the gates of hell

You saved me from my suicidal craving,
Life has been hitting me awfully lately

The cut that life made was deeper
But you made me feel stronger

Is it an illusion?
Another perfect distraction

For my adoring death
And self-destruction

Your coldness touched my sole,
And your darkness captured my soul

I let your darkness devour me
It's no different from my misery

But that's okay,
You seem to notice me

It's enough fuel to stop my self-cruelty
Your presence is all I need

You distracted me from death
I didn't knew you could do such thing

But now I'm full of regret
You left and now I'm nothing

You didn't promise me you'll stay
But you have made me feel that way

You could have chosen to stay
But you still chose to runaway

Chaos is now on its way
Not for me, but for you

Brace yourself for an impact
And hope that you will stay intact

'Cause when it hit me I almost fell apart
It felt like a lifetime just to restart

But don't you worry
You still have me

You may have abandoned me
But I will still love you intimately

Endlessly searching for a meaning
Now that i found you, could i be dreaming?

Another hopeless scheme of fate
No matter how far you've come, you'll still break

Drastic change of fears
From fear of heights to fear of falling in love

To runaway from you is easy
But to runaway from your thoughts is deadly

You might as well **** me now
Than to **** me slowly with your unbroken smile

Curious eyes that glint in the dark
You unconsciously lit the witching hour

Another night has passed
And my thoughts are still lost with you in the past

Gray turning to black
Leave me alone and give my thoughts back

I'm starting to lose it.
I'm starting to lose you.

I'm daydreaming in the night
Ironically, its true.

My eyes are getting heavy
I can't take it anymore

I've lost my consciousness
I fell asleep disoriented with my reverie

Staring at you isn’t as simple as you think.
Looking through your eyes feels like I’m about to sink.

Endlessly glancing at you.
I see the glow of the galaxy inside you.

The way the stars blink and twinkle
Is the same as you making me feel enkindled

You have made me believe,
That eyes can be deceived

That stars aren’t the ones we see
But they're the ones we meet,

And that galaxies aren’t to be dreamt
But that galaxies are meant to be felt.

I'm so confused,
Like a ticking bomb,
I need to be defused

My feelings are jared up
Mixed emotions --
I do not know where to start

Met you in my worst,
And you stayed.
And that made it even worst

You make me feel less cynical,
Clearer than crystal,
Every move now is critical

What magic do you posses?
With one look everything is supressed,
Smile and the sleepless world is at rest

I want you,
I need you
But I can never have you.

in this thin layer of skin

knowing you don't need anything,
'cause you already have everything

your beauty is sensuality –
like a clear view of the stars

your eyes are your biggest threat.
Looking at it is everyone's regret

you're like a metaphorical game –
I don't want to lose.

You don't want to be fooled
but your mind is fooling you

how ironic.
how cruel.

But my feelings are rebellious,

until the rivers bleed
and the skies fleet

I'm going to love you still

that puzzle pieces would fit effortlessly

but now that life has hit me
I look at it now differently

you need force just to fit
or else you won't be contented

all my life I've been trying my best
to find the perfect pieces among the rest

until I realize,
That is not how it works.

finding the perfect pieces
isn't finding the best fragments

you ought to seek the real ones
to have the divine ones

The discovery of you was my favorite.
You fitted to me differently

we're both incompatible
but the feeling is remarkable

something undeniable

but the more we force it
the more we become dismembered

we're not for each other.
