A broken tree bearing fruit
Hidden beneath a crumbling home,
Where a dead man sits in a rotted chair,
Breathing in quiet gasps.

empty seas
I should be proud
I should be thankful
I’ve had a good life
Everything is plentiful

But
my head won’t let me think straight
Everything’s a mess
I can’t be happy
When I’m less
than stardust
the dirt on the ground
We’re all made of the same things
as the stars and galaxies
But I think I’m missing something

The sunshine, moonlight
Makes everything beautiful
Look at the smiles of my best friends
Wonderful, as usual

I feel so inferior
to the beauty of my friends
Why they love me, I don’t know
but I’m there until the end

Take a long look at my friends
then a glance at me
and you’ll see
I’m less
than stardust
While they’re galaxies
My friends are literal angels, such kind and amazing people, I’m honestly unworthy of their friendship and love
Humans are all one
However we are not all for one
Instead we are all for ourselves
Humans are not perfect
And that I understand
But instead of trying to strive for perfection
We **** one another because we want to feel powerful
We scorn one another because we want others to feel our pain
We break one another because we want someone else to be broken
We hate one another because we want someone else to be hated like we are
Then, we **** ourselves because we don’t want to live like that
Because we don’t want really want to ****, or scorn, or break, or hate one another
We just want someone else to feel human
All of us are human, and none of us are perfect. Know that no matter who you are, there is someone else out there that feels your pain.

I'm sorry Mom, for the times I complained,
And for all the unnecessary tears,
I'm sorry Mom, for all the times I yelled,
And for all those wasted years.
I'm sorry Mom, for my stubborn behavior,
And for the times I ran away,
From all of the problems, I didn't feel like facing
Forgive me, Mom, for I was lead astray.
I'm sorry Mom, please show me the door,
I think it's time I leave.
I need to find my own way of life,
and stop destroying yours.
i see you at crossroads
your face the only landmark
i have traveled both ways
more than once
the traveler in me
have been lost for ages
catch me turning around the corner
catch me falling for you

you are the crossroad
but none of these trails
will ever lead to you
don't know what led me to write this really. it's not like, i was inspired to or anything, idk. lol.

I am myself
I’ve recently had to learn a lot about
myself— the kinds of things you wish you could never learn about yourself— how far your strength goes and the point where your mind snaps— .......i never
wanted to find the bottom of my strength—
every day with a forced smile
of course I can make your problem go away
i can fix anything in the blink of an eye
don’t worry it’s ok
i understand-i empathize-i know what you are feeling
- - - but every time I say those things it digs a little deeper
when I patch your hole I find my strings unraveling

i’ve been thinking a lot
about your hand in mine
the way that our fingers
and palms intertwine

but i think about death
about loss, about worth
i admit that i fear
to return to the earth

where our bodies dissolve
into roots of a tree
and will grow into trunk
then limb, then leaf

but i've heard from a bird
that death will reverse
and your heart will beat hard
like it did at your birth

so hold on for dear life
with your hand in mine
if death makes us let go
it is only for time
