"If my art somehow
Manages to save one life."
That's why I do it.
My shedded tears cover the earth
coating its green wonders in water
ice,
a word representing demons

ice
like your stare
crystal blue eyes
penetrate my soul
digging deep
reaching in
grabbing what's left of me
in your clenched fist

Ice
cold,
Sliding away
with my heart

the stream
lies ever so calmly
gently rippling with the wind

the wind
echoes and howls
a point of no return

pink beauty,
will you ever
return to me again?

Sometimes

sometimes it is hard
to be convinced of the truths
that you feel are lies
and when you are proven right
it becomes even harder
to accept that people
cannot ever be trusted

sometimes it is hard
to be convinced that life is not so bad
that you have it good
and when you are proven wrong
it becomes even harder
to accept that you
should be thankful for the pain

sometimes it is hard
to be convinced that you are good enough
that you are not lacking
and when you finally see it
it becomes harder
to accept that you should love
the people that took you for granted

Growth

With every growth there is a deep struggle. The soul has to advance spiritually by reshaping itself. It slowly strips away layers of the internal trappings of our life, be it physical or emotional. In doing so, we mold ourselves back into the shape of a stronger human being

the magic of poetry.
is that it makes everything
beautiful.
it fills your lungs
like air.
it turns your soul
into a sky full of stars.
your heart
a field of wildflowers.
you.
into a poem.
