i.

O' mine filipino beloved.
How mine heart aches, and these bones shaketh without thine essense of interweb hug's;
Mine tear's, there hath been plenty.Without the sound of thy voice, mine ears hast been itchy.

ii.

When I layeth down to slumber mine dear.
Just knoweth i cut and print out thy picture's- plastered them to mine wall, to feeleth thou were near;
For if it takes a whilst to seeith thee again mine pet,
Please knoweth again we shalt be one abode, an amour' we shant forget.

It's hard for me that my muse be gone
Someone whom I dear, a special one
From your notes I have read, things that you wanted to do
Truly mister regrets imprison you

Girl you know, we both fear someone
And still kinda no bullet in our gun
I know how hard for you to keep
A pain that hurts, even when you sleep

Babe, I am also wounded when you felt pain
When you feel you can't stand, we feel the same
So if ever you want to be free, I'll let you go
But please will you please, don't wish me to forget everything

But if ever you want to know, what's inside my thoughts
I'll be quite straight "I want us to go on, my dear"
But simply decisions are up to you
To show you how much I care
To let you know how much I love you

My girl I'm quite strange
I won't ask you, I know we felt the same
We both fear the tracks of time
The days left us one by one

So I've asked myself, why I still love to stay
I've asked the sun, why he loves to remain that way
But the answer girl is quite simply
There's something only love can do
There's something only love can do....

I couldn't wake up by a cappuccino today
Took me a red bull, one pink and purple stacker - from stop n shop. And a cup of coffee, Now I'm ******* my head off, hands are shaky, eyes tired, got more energy than an American stripper. And trying to ease down, just not happening. Like Chong said to cheech- You took the wrong stuff man, the wrong stuff, the wrong stuff. This bites!

She carried me aloft the firmament
To the Helix nebula;
Her wing's left trail's on earth of her beauty and elegance.

profiting off of damage
just like us poets.

In the depth of our existence, the ‘real us’ dwells,
which often remains untouched, ofttimes unspelled.

Don’t empower the peeps to impose their thoughts,
Be the brainchild of your conviction and you’d be sought.

Books that ****** ideas and structure our notion,
Make us go astray from our real aspiration.

Don’t let the world dilute your soul;
You are a born sierra, not a trivial knoll!

b for short
I wonder if he knows his words saved my life.
He sees things the way I see things—
it’s the kind of music the deaf can hear.
Salvation in words, an alter for art,
sound soul reinforcements for those of us
who almost couldn’t dig our nails in
deep enough to hang on.
Almost.

Thank you for having the courage
to write it all down
to say it all out loud
for allowing me
to relate.

You see, I, too, am still learning to love
the parts of me
that no one claps for.

Where were you when you heard
First heard some legendary song?
Does it get permanently hooked
To that time in life as it went along?

When I was twelve years old
I was coming home on the bus
A car radio playing Elvis singing
That’s “All Right Mama” passed us.

Freezing my *** in a weapons plant
When I first heard “Everybody’s Talking”.
I had no money and no good car
But I almost started walking.

All the time I was driving
“Light My Fire”, was always playing
With that bridge you couldn’t ignore.
I always link going west on I-40 to
My introduction then to the Doors.

T’was almost fifty years ago today
Sergeant Pepper and his band did play.
I was working as fry cook in KC
Wishing I could afford to run away.

I heard Yes singing “Your Move”
In Hollywood on Sunset and Vine.
I had no idea who that group was
I only knew they were new and fine.

Bopping down Hollywood Boulevard
And fashionable in Frankenstein shoes
I was styling with my pleated bells
Singing “Staying Alive” as I would cruise.

Music changed for me again, for the better
With the opening of Yellow Brick Road.
Elton made that dramatic opening bit
Opposite of a country *****-backed toad.

Barbra and Donna in great duet called
Were wailing out “Enough Is Enough”.
I was thinking finding a better team
Than those two divas would be tough.

Is it love or is it lies?
Perhaps both, or neither,
Inflamed by need,
Quenched by self,
Swollen with desire.
Imagination fans the fire
Until the floorboards creak outside my door
- Then I brink for her no more.

TO ALL POETS

Each of us is different
yet we are (bottom-line)
the same
true to self
that's what really  matters
words are the joys and tears of our heart
none can stop them--never, ever

One pulls me down in a sea of tenderness
safe gentle lapping waves of love and comfort
so soothing like a warm summer pond in the south
He is my anchor

The other loves me like a wild forbidden passionate rush
an all consuming type of love, making the world disappear
clinging to a life raft in a turbulent sea
He is my storm

Enticing waters with the luminous waves that can tempt the dead from their bed. My soul longs for both. I cannot drift off to peaceful sleep until the waves of desire find their sweet release. A wondrous storm of love in a turbulent sea or a steadfast anchor that has taken hold on a part of me

listen -
hear no sound, feel
only wind on its way, ghostly
nothings, but hush to sharp wings
of ocean birds so fraying as they cut
the sky, shuttle to fairways, far aways,
in plaintive cries, i hear what they say,
sailing into the jeweled skylights, but i
am only weight of air, still on ground,
i mumble out, sidle the bone tides
that roll to land, grains of clarity,
i am mist and tear, a world
of hollow, i am that sound -
of ocean in a shell.
