rid me of the dark memories that haunt my soul
shed those tears I cried so long ago, into the depths of my pillow
but only minutes have passed,
it feels like years...
the concept of time is lost on me..
Everything you hope for
and everything you wish,
is as likely as a bicycle
being ridden by a fish.

Why does everyone have a category?
put into separate boxes
separate
different
gay
lesbian
black
white
rich
poor
but why do we need these "titles"
because aren't we all the same?
aren't we all the same stupid people?
the same stupid
ignorant
****** annoying
people
that put us
into these categories as well?
So why all the TITLES
We r all the same, but different at the same time...
haHA Think about THAT
And yes I've posted a lot today...
keep up :)
I may be too small to see
over the edge of the countertop
but I am not too small
to see past your lies
and into your heart,
mind, and soul
I have many good friends who are smaller than I, but watching other people underestimate them, motivated me to write this poem. Enjoy.
Whistling a gentle tune in the forest
as the wind swoops and bends the trees
chattering with the birds
their flashes of red blue and yellow
swinging throughout the green branches
that hang low over a glistening meadow

Singing the song of the sand
as it swirls and twirls around you
whispering its silent prayer
a lure into the depths
of the hot grains

Humming a lullaby
singing sweetly to the enchanting river
as it carries you along
Its white waters wash
away your sins
as it carries you away
through the heart of the jungle
the middle of the scorching desert
through and through
up and up

Now here I lay
on the face of the moon
a glowing arc in the sky
whispering kind wishes
from our spot in space
I sit here with my mouth closed
for I am silent
and therefore
my songs will not touch the earth
not ever again

he looked at me
with sleepy eyes

eyelids trying to hide
deep spiderwebs of thought

"smile"
he said
and when i did
the storm was
calmed
The small rock representing your birth
engraved deep into a necklace
proving your worth
to the world
and to you

you,
the one sitting there
staring out into a moonlit sky
the thousands of twinkling stars
dapple the sky
as the whooshing wind whispers
belonging

You
the proud dark eyed girl
standing tall along an old wooded pier
the spray of the sea splatters your face with its salt
bellowing waves crash underneath your feet
shouting,
You belong

And You
are still here
one of many
on this earth
loved and guided
through this life and to the next
and you,
**belong
so many people feel out of place here on earth, i wish that i could change this but the ***** truth is, that i can't..  I've always felt different and sort of out of place, I'm still not quite sure why.. maybe because I have different passions/interests that other people, but that burden is mine, not yours, always be who you are.

Sad...
A wind, without a kite
A kid, who does not play
A pond, without a fish

Unacceptable...
A circus, without a clown
A lawn, that is not green
Banks, that don’t give loans

Rare,
A bird, that is not shy
A Guy, who sheds a tear
A marriage, without a fight

Hard to believe...
A writer, who always writes
A cat, that does not scratch
Grandmas, who rarely knit

Unheard of...
A scientists, who never asks
A cook, despising spice
Lawyers, who tell the truth

Creepy...
A night, that is not dark
A bat, that loves the light
Winter, without the cold

Fake,
Flowers, that never fade
Snow, that does not melt
A waitress, who always smiles

Impossible...
A poet, who does not feel
A heart, that does not long,
A lover’s eye...
                        ...that sleeps the night.
Some things just can't be...
Do you cower at the sight
of its slender figure
slowly slithering closer
across the cracked fall leaves?

they crunch under the weight
of your black and green scales
winding your way

Like a thread
flowing along in the dust
your bright red eyes
pierce my soul like a dagger
and when I fall to the ground
you slide up my chest
until we are face to face

I look you in the eyes
never wavering
never blinking
unmoving
your tongue flickering
mocking me

But I can't take it
My eyes twitch
almost unnoticeable
and the fire in your eyes
seems to get bigger
more powerful

The horns on your head
glowing red
like the devil inside me
And your eyes turn blue
crystal
like the crashing waves
outlining the setting sun
behind it
But my heart has frozen
your eyes cold as ice
pierce my soul like a knife
but I am already dead

Life is sweet.
Life is bitter.
Don't let it pass by in a blink,
Otherwise you won't taste the sweetness if has to offer.

You should be enlightened with all the rays of the sun
The clouds shall encircle your neck as a wreath
If you were to sit upon a throne of all glory
would you crown me your queen?

Rebel Heart
Well I'm crashing, barely breathing
The feeling I've lost all control
On the driver's seat, but who's driving?
I'm sitting slowly losing my soul

You told me it would get better
Told me to give it some time.
Is it time enough now though,
Now that I'm bleeding out in rhyme

Flipping over and over again
While broken shards of memories lost
Burn through my bleeding brain.

Crashing and turning over again
While sounds of sirens drown me out
Driving me insane

Yet the impossible promises never stop
"You're going to be okay"
I'm gasping and drowning for air
While you're begging me to stay

So close to the end
And I never felt more alive
I just took a shortcut out
Of this never-ending drive

"...in a major accident..."
And the voices are drowned out by chimes
Because the only mistake I ever made
Was struggling to live all this time

So what's so bad about that?
I'l never see the finish line
But there was nothing waiting for me there anyway
Except a simple "dead end" sign
A poem I dug up from about a year ago but still gets my feelings right today
