Breaths are so unseen,
Yet, they are life's divine clocks-
Cupped in misty clouds.

Your absence is choking me.
Making me voiceless.

Did you hear that?
Words of pain are bleeding from my plastered mouth.

Sentimentality.
Is no more than agony.

Thud!
Poignant promises shatter the floors.

My heartbeat rumbles your name.

Splatter.
Clatter!
My muffled cries are shedding salty tears,
Mercilessly tearing the tiles apart.

Swish...
The salt from my tears evaporate.

impeding my peace
embedded in my dreams
inserting yourself in to
all of my most secret fantasies
waking up unwillingly
rolling over back to sleep
right back to where we
left off so casually

in the dreamscape it's so nice
but it's so toxic in real life

restless
no sleep for the torn
keep the fire burning
by tearing up the floorboards
effectively destroying the house
the temple you've learned to hate
is it too late to love myself
or could i get another take
a second chance to be grateful for
what hasn't happened
or am i the type of broken that can't be fixed
defined by somebody else's actions

We usually think of beauty
As a very pretty face
Or how people act, or what they do
May also be the case
We’re told that beauty lies
In the eyes of the beholder
Some people also see beauty
As a person that is bolder
But me, I think of beauty
As the sunshine in the morn
Or the face of a brand new child
On the day that he is born
Beauty can be a running steam
Or the reflection from the sun
Beauty can be the enlightenment
On the face of newly ordained nun
Beauty can be an object
That brings us so much pleasure
Or an act that is reversing
That has brought us such displeasure
Beauty can be a state of being
That is pleasant to the senses
Or a ****** exposition
That brings forward our defenses
Whatever beauty means to you
We hope that you have more
That you find some time to listen
To the water at the shore
And take the time with gratitude
To understand your fate
And enjoy the beauty before you
