I read my horoscope
each morning
thinking I have a glimpse
into the future

Little did I know
that stories change
when the writer
does

As I am lying here in my bed
I can't help but feel like a fraud
Because in order to deal with my scars
I create characters
Who speak the words
I will never be able to say myself

for the first time
since the last time
i think i stopped missing you
today.

Like the moment I first saw her,
Parched lips that tasted water,
Mother Nature's only daughter,
Living on the street,

In the open desert valley,
I feel her air around me,
Effortless and soundly,

One day we will meet.
