Bones
You vex me with impressions
Of people I don’t know
You touch me like you’re teasing
but then run away
Stop playing this game
This game hurts me the most

Two years ago
I joined this page
I don’t even know what to say
I’ve written thousands of poems
Since that day
Getting better and better
Along the way...
Thank you all
For your love and support
Each and every single day
Here’s to many more
Writing up to five poems a day
Maybe I’ll get recognized someday
For my work of encouragement
One of these days...

Within a container
I poured my hate
Within a container
I poured you away

Swaying to and fro,
     weathering breeze and gale -
          silently, leafless.

Standing ***** like sometimes I,
casting shadows twice a day -
never sleeping in the night’s, darkness.

Birds tend to rest upon their lofty branches,
     but for a moment -
          others a seasons, length.

Fluid from the sky drains to its roots,
nourished by the abundant ground swells -
          growth spurts upward and, full.

The dull green color will never change,
its hue will be recognized differently -
          during clouded, skies.

Its death may come as, lightning, STRIKES!

Still you

Reisa
I could still see you.
The manner the wind tousles
you straight, unruly hair,
The firm grip of your spectacles
on your big nose,
That silly dance you do
whenever it rains,
The inside lines
of your wrist I used to adore - used to.

I could still feel you.
The weight of your arm
on my shoulders,
The dampness of your lips
on mine,
The irrational collywobbles
whenever you smile unexpectedly,
The heartfelt embraces
I used to long for - used to.

It's still you - used to.
Where am I, you ask?

Lost in the clutter of my mind

Thoughts all jumbled up
Like a spool of tangled thread
And just as thin
So close to breaking

Fingers get caught
And slowly turn purple
Once released, permanent damage remains

My conscience plays the fingers
My mind the thread

Pull to hard,
the thread snaps
Don’t pull enough,
and it’s forever knotted
Within the
Matter of time
Don't know
Why
One collides
Somewhere
From the parallel world
Eventually
No easy way out

It's okay !
But a life of
A pulsatile heart
Never beats
The same

March roared and rained and ripped
itself from winter
a wounded lion

Last seen following the snowbirds
Juncos leaving for the arctic this week

Axion Prelude
I had a dream, I saw you there
You reached for me
I reached back

Your skin was cold as ice
Scared, you told me to awake
I opened my heart

I had awoken, but you weren't there
The dream is what kept me alive
I had a dream..
Be honest with people. Don't hide anything. Don't lead on, don't contrive meaning or intent.

Hearts break, emotions shut down; listless fortune settles into the crevices where once resided compassion, dreams, and hope for something good.

I am ashamed of how often I come to this place inside. It's a home, it's a prison; it never changes.

I trust too easily.
