She was only a child,

Tranquil in the distance,

Didn’t know a thing about love.

You came, and with just a subtle effort,

She let you in.

Innocence became thinner,

Established a lot of
firsts.
Every action led to a downward *****.

“At last! Someone loves me,” she thought.
You made her want to see every light of dawn.

She thought wrong.

She was just a child,

Tranquil in the distance,

Didn’t know a thing about love.

That’s why she never got the chance,
To differentiate receiving someone’s love,
From feeding on broken trust.

Blinded by her feelings,

Fooled by your words,

Suppressed her senses to the inevitable,

Confined herself in the “us” world.

She was still a child,

Yet, you ruined her tranquility.

She didn’t know a thing about love,

So you gave her falsity.

You came and made an elusive effort,

For her to let you in,

Then left her to wonder,

“Did I love you wrongly?”

I saw a rainbow,

Looking at our dreadful situation.

You notice the colors it gives,

But,
It's the inverted smile I see,

Like happiness faltering to its curve,

Just masking it with ROYGBIV.

Even so,
It never fails to share every hue,

To lift every mouths to grin,

And to give color to the greyscale scene.
A random poem for a random day after randomly seeing a random rainbow.

I want to be someone.
I want to be your someone.

I could still see you.
The manner the wind tousles
you straight, unruly hair,
The firm grip of your spectacles
on your big nose,
That silly dance you do
whenever it rains,
The inside lines
of your wrist I used to adore - used to.

I could still feel you.
The weight of your arm
on my shoulders,
The dampness of your lips
on mine,
The irrational collywobbles
whenever you smile unexpectedly,
The heartfelt embraces
I used to long for - used to.

It's still you - used to.

You only told me you love me,
When I was about to tell you you're free.

That was all I wanted to hear,
before we ended everything.

Hindi ko alam — Tagalog (Filipino) words meaning, "I don't know. "

The only thing you say to the question,
"What are we?"

This night I'll be sleeping,
leaving a crying heart on the table,
with the weight of my mind
sinking my head further,
believing that you are still
waiting for me,
at the other side the reality
I always keep in my dreams.
