It was a quiet place
Inside of that red room
Until the wind from inside shook the walls
Collapsing them outward
As the walls fell around her
The wildflowers appeared.
Growing rapidly
The red walls were replaced by
Blue Purple Yellow faces with Green stems.
She climbed those green stems,
For a long time.
So long she reached the top,
Where the Blue Purple Yellow faces stared into the sun.
She lay a top those wildflowers.
Closing her eyes,
Suddenly surrounded by red.
Inspired by Wild Flower, Fiona re-imagines the poem, 2 of 2.

The sun glows
the same color
as my skin
as sunflowers
as happiness
but why
does the color of my people
the color that means joy
the same color I'm proud of
be the same reason that
you measure my worth
and the weight isn't in gold
Mau Vang is the color yellow in vietnamese. Its the color of my skin and the same color that makes people look down on me. I don't understand why race, a social construct, is still living in the history we make today.

The sun shown bright
and yellow.
Leaving my skin red like an apple.
The breeze moves my
hair like a ripple in water...

Hearing nothing but the birds sing,
And feeling nothing
but the grass and wheat
beneath my feet.
I run.
Finally, feeling free...
In a world of pain.
A school project. We had to focus on imagery, and include sensory diction.

I'm coloring in these tensiles
Shapes test patterns to sell
Instead I'm constructing a new formation
My mentality blending in with my insanity
Painting in pain so the light spilt into the paint
Running deep blue waters while yellow splashes in with the compassion
Bubbles piling up to pop at the surface to serve my dying face
A boat bought sinks with beautiful daffodils as poetry
Separates the ink from the words
Colors distorted from the canvas
As I emerge the sky is now mine
All these patterns I've gained
Become my whole page
Tell a scope because my view is far out
Tessellated picture is now draped as my soul
Proceed my figure and we both shall see the sea shells

Art is whatever you interpret it to be

The juices you know you’re sipping
The mango peach goodness
******* these fruits
Tasting their sweetness
Drinking the sugars
Drowning in the flavoring

Yellow in the cup
Yellow in the eyes
Enjoying the dancing
Reaping the benefits of your fruit
Slipping in extra flavor to drown in it

Make a man go crazy over a peachy princess
But the juice in the golden holy grail
Is the truth of planting seeds in the soil
A fruitful soul can grow
But keeping the poison will put you below

Smiling softly at you,
Because you make me happy,
Laughing with you in the limber afternoon,
My deep dimples,
Enough to make you tumble and tumble again,
You grab my hand, grazing my ring,
And lead me through the flowers,
Our touch as meshed as cotton in my hair,
You’re whistling through the weeds,
A thousand thorns,
Spill off my shoulder,
Scoop the ground,
We walk and dandelions surround us
Naturally

Her hair is like gold, pulled back yet hidden.
Although naive and childlike, she’s committed
When her friends are threatened by the villain.
With her psychic powers, she heals the wounded
With the same powers, she reads their feelings
Traveling with her six friends, she goes to
find red. Riding Dody, her search taking
her through all the city’s, routes and towns too.
The elite four she must fight, Lance,
Agatha, Bruno, and Loralie complicate
Her plans. After meeting Blain nows her chance.
To Cerise Island, where battles await.
The final fight between Lance and Yellow,
Ends with Yellows victorious echo.
this poem is based on my favorite Manga character. Her name is Amarillo Del Bosque Verde but goes by Yellow Caballero.

Black is overrated
Yellow suits me nice
she sees my dark glimmer
in small baloons of life

When my colour is brighter weather
my raindrop turns desire
my darling likes me in sweaters
of carefully knotted lies

Not the white to see the darkness
not the pink that runs with lust
my love sees me in yellow
like the smile that I've longed last
Painter of my life
