Like a child on Christmas day,
like paint to an artist,
like crashing waves on the bay
like notes to a harpist.

A joy so transforming
Sweeping you off your seat.
It's so heartwarming
causing saltate to your feet.

God is restoring your life
with pure elation.
Impacting your inside
making joy the foundation.

Darkness surrounded her.
Her path ceded into a tunnel.
A tunnel of obscurity.
Every step was a struggle.

Her eyes brewed with tears
and her heart ached with fear.
No one could see her tears
and no one cared to hear.

She looked up at the darkness
and cried out to God.
She choked on her tears
and her voice was weary and flawed.

Soon a light commenced
and filled the tunnel with light.
Her path glowed with radiance
and her steps were bright.

I get pulled out of class every Tuesday and Thursday to basically face my fears. The nice, warm, voice of the speech therapist smoothes my anxiety as she begins to tell me about how she can help me and shows me how our body is like a seed, water is the soul and our minds is like roots on a tree. My spirit feels safe. Then, she pulls out a passage to read....

Instantly, my nervousness comes back and I begin to choke on every syllable and adverbs. I sigh in a hopeless depression because I'm trying my best to fight against ... Myself.
The speech therapist tells me to try again... No matter how many times I messed up it seemed like she was always  there to guide my way to increase hope even though I felt powerless. I never stop trying. This moment made me feel like everything will be alright and I can push through anything, even though it might take alittle time because of what I have, as long as I keep trying, I can take that fear, destory it, use it to my advantage in the future and maybe be an inspiration to others that went through a similar situtation.
Welcome to chapter 2.

I know what it's like to have everything
I know what it's like to feel stalemate
I hold the sky in one hand
And stop it crashing with the other.

Pulling together is easy in theory
When deadweights don't counteract
I'm staked on everything
And at what price?

I'm not a god
But gods reconcile with me
And the burden of humanity
Is too heavy for my shoulders.

I am just a being
Inhabiting a body of man
I have euphoria from my surroundings
But it is short lived.

But then again
I have learned from man
That nothing lasts forever
And I won't live to see it.

So I hold this head high
Knowing I'll be gone in style
But until then I am just being
Someone who understands, yet doesn't.
