Are you it, who kept, keeps calling wolf?

Wildly, blindly, a blind child may be
Who am I to say, who am I to blame

Are you it, who kept, keeps, calling wolf?

Throw the first rock; you’re stuck up
Glass castles tend to fall to pieces easier

Who are we together, we kept, we keep calling wolf.

Disagree, belief; your naked clothing
It is a piece of the puzzle, which is growing

Could it complicate me less, could it compliment me less?
As the pieces fall the heart calls

Animals, animals who keep calling wolf.

Are you everything you say, everything you do?
You’re missing out on a detail— you are you.
The thoughts; the desire; the faults; the fire
Is this you, you are you.

Are you everything you say, everything you do?
You’re missing out on a piece—you are you.
The thoughts; the desire; the faults; the fire
It this you, you are just you.

Kept, keeps calling wolf
Wolf,
Wolf,
Wolf,
Wolf.

To change the world, if one can,
is to change the hearts of the mortal man.

It’s alright,
It’s alright
It’s alright.

To change the world, if one can,
Is to change the hearts of the mortal man.

Imagine just two, two lives,
colliding faster than the speed of light.

Imagine more, than simply two,
conflict is the child issued.

It’s alright,
It’s alright,
It’s alright.

Heart against heart, world against world—
Is there a difference?
Is there a cause?

It could all be a dream, a fantasy for just me—

Would I ever notice?
Would I ever bother?

It’s alright,
It’s alright,
It’s alright.
To change the world, if one can,
is to change the hearts of the mortal man.

No clear guidance for our cause,
it is meaningless, it all.

You are alone amongst thousands,
even in the arms of those you love.

It’s alright,
It’s alright,
It’s alright.

A war is a war; a man is a man—
a fruit on a tree that grows or will pass on.

To make you smile, it is anything but a
skinny love;
from stranger to stranger.
Of this there is none,
from stranger to stranger,
we will always remain to be one.

We’re those flowers,
those who need the world to burn,
to bloom.

We’re the highlight of mankind,
Moreover, its fall—
‘cause we’re on the wrong side of history.

Save me, save me,
to save yourself;
I’ll save you, I’ll save you,
to save myself.

To make you smile, it is anything but a
skinny love;
from stranger to stranger.
Of this there is none,
from stranger to stranger,
we will remain to be one.

When the world crumbles,
you will have a hand in yours,
a hand that’ll never let go.

Let’s follow Icarus,
let’s fall as he did—
we will touch the sun and smile.

Find me, find me,
to find yourself;
I’ll find you, I’ll find you,
to find myself.

To make you smile it is anything but a
skinny love, it is anything but a
skinny love;
from stranger to stranger,
stranger to stranger.
Of this there is none,
from stranger to stranger,
stranger to stranger,
we will remain to be one.

We will remain to be one,
we will remain to be loved,
we will remain to one.

The things I do for your smile,
the things you do for mine.

If you could talk to your younger self what would you say?
Would you laugh would you cry, dislike the same?
Love as you do or run away?

Tell her not worry, your world will change,
do not do not be afraid
do not do not be afraid

Tell her: you are enemies.
Tell him: you got to change.

If you could
If you could
If you could talk to your younger self, what would, say?

That sometimes, sometimes,
You must be hurt, to see
Be hurt, to see

Baby steps,
There’s so much, so much that you want to say

If you could see her
If you could see him

What would you do?
What would you do?

If you could, face him
If you could, face her

What would you do?
What would you do?

If you could
If you could
If you could talk to your younger self, what would say?

It is a new age, we need a new face—a single human soul.
To be the spitting image of our cause.

“Two loud claps.”

The old won’t do, the revolution calls—we choose between lesser of evils in us all.
This is it for humankind.

“Two loud claps.”

“Exhale”

Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.

“Exhale”

Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.

For forever, we will be hunting;
hunting the goodness, the self-justified cause.

A face that can be plastered on top of humanity; because it can never be ours.

Do you think, we can explain ourselves?
If the end of days has a judge can you explain your heart?

“Two loud claps.”
Whether or not we are right or wrong, if we’re weak or strong;
could we hand in hand ever show the thoughts we have?

“Two loud claps.”

“Exhale”

Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.

“Exhale”

Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.
Face me, face yourself.

For forever, we will be hunting;
hunting the goodness, the self-justified cause.

A face that can be plastered on top of humanity; because it can never be ours.

‘Cause it can never be ours,
‘cause it can never be ours.
Won't you keep me dizzy so that I stop spinning
Out of all control when I'm alone

And won't you keep me busy so that I stop snoozing
All the day away when I'm at home

Sing to me, Sera
We're calling you back home
Prozie, Addie, all of our old friends.
Sing to me, Sera
Please don't leave me alone
I want to look at my life through your lens.

This is the time, this is the place
For me to answer, for you to ask
I can see questions
Troubling your mind

Don't be afraid to talk to me
It's not too late, never will be
I'll be your friend, boy
Long after I'm gone
I will be watching you
And help you carry on

Be strong
Walk tall
Keep on movin' when you fall
Grow yourself boy, up to be
A kind of man with whom you can live
Day after day

Come sit beside me, or sit in my lap
Always remember, do not forget
I'll be your ladder
But on your own you'll climb
I'll dig the trenches
But you must fight your fights

Be strong
Walk tall
Keep on movin' when you fall
Grow yourself boy, up to be
A kind of man with whom you can live
Day after day…
Day after day…
Day after day…
I wrote this one for my older son after a huge dispute between us.

Too **** drunk to play

I fell into a bottle
Four Presidents ago
looking for the hidden song
Just before a show

Once I thought I found it
I was in about half way
When I took the stage I found out
I was far too drunk to play

Every bottle has a song
somewhere deep inside
I haven't found one yet though
but, ****...i know I've tried

Each line upon my weary face
And scar upon my fingers
is the end result of searching for
the song that always lingers

If it isn't in one bottle
in the next it may be there
so for now, i'll just keep searching
for the song that isn't there

there's songs in other places too
too dark for me to go
some find songs inside a needle
those aren't songs I want to know

I come by my songs honestly
my scars show I've looked deep
But, when I'm almost there and see it
That's kinda when I fall asleep

when I'm sober, I can't find them
once I'm drinking, then I hear
The song calling from a bottle
I'm like an alcoholic seer

I know I'll find the right one
And it just may be today
I only hope I find it
Before I'm too **** drunk to play

I only hope I find it
Before I'm too **** drunk to play

Goodnight I, lost the fight I,
Cheated death for a while my friend
Now I’m off for a better fit
Off to a place of happiness
And no pain
Tonight

I lost all my movements
I’m in and out of consciousness now
I can’t breathe but I can still dream
I still hear you through that morphine wall
But I can’t get through
Tonight

My heart skips a beat
Like a stone over a pond
If seeing is believing
I guess I don’t see at all…

Goodnight I know it’s late
Let’s toast the good years
We spent in waste
All the bars, all the conversations
All the details, they blur into one
Goodnight friend
Goodbye friend
You’re a ******* and you’re a drunk

Goodnight friend
My blackout friend
You always kick me when I’m down
And I’m sorry I lost the fight
Just from my window there is no light
There’s no prize, there’s no woman
So there’s nothing left in my sight

Goodnight friend, goodbye friend
There’s no feeling and no pain
Tonight

Goodnight

The moon is full and high
Casting shadows on the wall
In the house where no one sings anymore

At night, you can hear the wind
In the empty room and halls
In the house where no one sings anymore

Even the faces in the ceiling
They’ve grown blind and mute and bored
And the voices on the TV screen
They make no sense at all
In the house where no one sings anymore

Until the light floods in
And rids the shadows from the walls
Nothing’s changing in this house
Not anymore…
In this house where no one sings anymore
A song I wrote
