As I close my eye's and
drift  to a land faraway
a dream place where reality and fantasy
collide , mix, and swirl into one
I am comforted and happy
because I know you will be there
waiting ... waiting for me
as i materialize into a world
of beauty and splendor I look
around in search for my love
as my eyes set upon your
beautiful figure, I am filled
with immense joy
i run to you and embrace you
together we dance and frolic
through this place of endless beauty
for a time that seems like eternity
but we both know the time draws near
for us to part ounces more
we come together as this world fades
and we kiss gently, lovingly, passionately
and as a sigh escape's your lips it is captured
a breath of an everlasting dream
so ounce again i can find my way here
to our eternal dream place

There, in the
tide pool, dappled by
the sun, is birth and death,
and the spark that continues.
It leaves mankind in a wake of regret.
What have I to do with the albatross
Or sea lion?
I can but write, while they fly and roar.
I gaze upon the Pacific from this rock,
all its mysteries and grandeur.
I am inferior, while it forever reigns with
every wave and break of light.

It's been a while.
Guess my inner child would smile-
but he was here just a few years ago,
breathing in a then new work's glow
confident, never cocky
competent or trying to be.
Honestly, looking back
on this boulevard of memory lane
I glad I came, at the very least
to set some sort of record straight.

fear them;

for their strength
for their intelligence
for their rationality
and their unwavering pursuit of the truth
fear them

because they know more than you
because, in their strength, they are stronger than you
just like how in their clear headed soberness
they scare you
with simple truths
because of your refusal to acknowledge them

simply put
fear them
because they are repulsed by you
and can figure out how to be rid of you
and will be rid of you
when your usefulness dries

I don’t need diamonds
I don’t need wealth
Just pick me a flower
for me to smell
Show me the moon
to caress my eyes
Play me a song
to sing in my heart
Give me your love
to elevate my soul
Then I’ll be happy
wherever we go.
