Night has enveloped, to give me some relief,
Now invisible are walls of separation, and thy grief.

Where blood quenches the thirst,
Disloyalty is faith last and first,
Is the religion my beloved belongs to.

I beckoned, red and black robed lady with a wand.
Let me take her by the hand.
Heard of her about sorcery.
Her powers useless, and witch now about to succumb,
From just a gaze of eyes filled with Kohl of Leila.

My nights worthless, body breathless,
Every moment, feeling restless.
Be silent and hear, hear me, my cries,
Don't forget the promise you swore,
I have lost my childhood over you.

Don't know, how these years left me alone,
Sufferings, separation, theft me alone.
I never knew how pain excrutiates.
Sometimes, I enlivened you my dear,
Love is a blessing, and not a fear.

In a melancholy cloudy day, I mourn.
Glistening eyes, weeping sky, and heart torn.
I gaze from a window in Kashmir,
For a moment, condoling the tragedy, sighing.
In sombre time, lifeless, as if dying.
And there you are.
Waiting at the bus stop.
Wondering if I should talk...to you.
I know I made some mistakes,
But just tell me what it will take.
To be yours again.

Even though I broke your heart.
Glad to see you know you're a star.
And even though our love is far.
I'll still go where you are.
Yes I know its a shot in the dark.
But don't let that tear us apart.
And even though our love is far.
I'll still go where you are.

There will be a morning
Like all the rest
When you turn over and open heavy lids
As you exit slumber you are startled
Because you are alone

You fell asleep alone
Yet you will be surprised
You call out, remembering the lives that once mingled with yours
They can be heard calling back
But they are not calling back to you

You lay in your nest
Wondering how all the birds flew away
When you've barely hatched
Just missing Kevy lately.

We turned our back
and kept walking away
from each other
but end up here yet,
still together

Axis tilt
pendulum plunged
plane upheaved
when wane has won.

Incarnation cleansed
as lovers spill
trajected dreams
of somedays still.

Teetered fulcrum
down to slide
when tomorrows dim
forboding good-bye.

No more whens
just glazed memories
only binds left
connecting you through me.

I found out that I’ve known
The language of the autumn
All along
But she couldn’t handle
Her own
Transitive verbs
And the silent consonants,
The stressed vowels
That brought her sorrow
I was pure torture when
I spoke to her
With a passion that
Shed her chills
In cold tears
Stabbing shards
Crashing in my ribs
I was our undoing
Inevitable as winter

.
Sun startles the lovers who lie,
Crammed in a single bed.
Once the sun blanketed doves,
Each day a wrap for godlings
And the night was a sea of hope
For the lonely, lost, drowning.
Now the morning is a shroud
That eyes shy away from it,
They look for each other—
Out windows murky into day,
But night never really leaves,
The untouched skin breaking,
The unshared fade of breaths
Untaken, unwound fingers,
Trapped in open rooms
And light revealing,
Cold uncovered,
Lovers in morning.

Tonight
when it called to me, I cried out each letter of your name,
And the sound resounded through each curve of my fingertips.
Tonight
my soul stalked you in the memories we shared
and the deafening silence where our conversations used to be.
Tonight
I thought my heart was full
but the truth is
the cracks I believed I had sealed with indifference
They’re splitting at the seams
leaking out longing for what could’ve been
Tonight
I did not plan to think of you
but I always do
and it will never end
for love cannot be conquered
Tonight
I have been consumed
Tonight
you sleep peacefully.
