Run
I run to you
racing cautiously
   slow     motion     into
                                         your arms
hoping against my fear
that maybe this time
my seeking has led me
                                          here
Love is in this place,
what if I am not?
I've hidden my face,
from Love I forgot.

Love’s in search of me,
Am I to be found?
Love wants to call me,
Can I hear its sound?

When feeling alone,
Love draws itself near,
And makes itself known,
But what do I hear?

Love so immanent,
Found me unaware.
Not by accident.
It looks everywhere.

All the world’s a stage, they say;
And the mind that makes the sun
Cannot quite conceive of None;
Life’s a game we have to play.

Perhaps life is just life to be
And living is the greatest art
And in the end we’re always free
In the balance of our heart

Tell me, then: what tells me this?
The world within, no less real,
Yet not more; therein is bliss.
Behind the door, simply feel.

What’s without and what’s within:
Is there balance; is there zen?

Wandering through reality and dreams,
Searching for something to mind unknown.
Lost between happiness and sadness,
The heart craves to beat again.
Scattered on the floor,
My soul is lying dry,
Wetness from tears swiped away long ago.
So I wonder...
Where can I go?
I have been lost for so long only to find myself in ashes at the end of the journey.

seeing an array of colours
walk, walk stand, people with
lost wandering eyes
feet in search, directed at
aimless circles to be fulfilled

a heart of purpose
sits quietly cornered
in a wooden four legged
chair, fixated eyes

searching for that same
direction within means
filled with hope to seek
purpose behind people,
lost in the
invisible.
a sudden burst of inspiration from a girl at the corner of the coffee shop, always invisible to the wandering crowd, a wandering heart.

I've always seen you
When I look up at the stars.
This is the beginning of life
To love you, to dream in massive
Sound.
The infinity of new beginnings.
To feel so close
Knowing that I am so far.
Asleep in your presence.
Knowing that I am completely comfortable soon as I see you.
Searching the sky until I find you.
The very reason I look up.
The galaxy colliding in the pupil
Of my eyes.
Night after night
Everytime I look at you
Hello Daisies Jan 2019
where am I going
I do not know
What do i want
All i feel is woe

Am i a fiery warrior
Or a pretty princess
Am i soft poetry
Or something unknown to me

What are my goals
I can't figure out
What's my dream
All i feel is doubt

Am i a free spirited owl
Or a early morning rooster
Am I the reds and oranges of autumn
Or the blooming spring of freedom

I do not know what defines me
Or who I am
But when someone laughs
Or there is happiness
I feel a spark
Inside this lost heart
No idea who i am but yeah

I’ve never once held true love...
I’d imagine it would be like holding a glass ball

It’s nice- Dancing with fragility,
Swaying to a beat that sounds like Forever,
Just trying not drop it

When you look into it,
you see an alternate version of reality,
A beautiful, warped world that holds light differently
I’ve never looked through that glass

See, I’m the wise single friend at the party
Hiding behind a facade
Of freedom and independence
Chanting the mantra of
“you don’t need no man”
But that doesn’t mean I’m not looking

Right now I’m stuck in the biggest game
of Marco-polo I have ever played
And I don’t remember the game being so hard...

“There’s plenty of fish in the sea” they say
Yet day after day, I stand upon a boat
Calling our into a sea of potential...

Not once have I ever heard a polo in reply...

in a world where everyone
is trying to get ahead,
make their family proud,
and their neighbors jealous

i'm just trying to feel useful,
like if I was to die tomorrow
I'd be missed,
and not replaced within a week
when I compare my life goals to others,
I feel so alien, so out-of-place
