The legend said that there was a boy in the mid 800 who begged everyday to the Sun God That his black eyes could be blue as sapphire. In Africa every person of the region had dark eyes, but he felt he wanted to have light blue eyes so someday he could go with the sky Gods and be their helper and trainee. The only requisite was to have blue or gray eyes; for them these two colors meant purity and identified the only ones who could meet them. Shmuel wanted it, but that meant he was going to go away from his house and live his family forever, because once you go and see a God you can’t return to Earth nor have contact with humans again. After years of begging to the sun, he accepted it, and turned his eyes blue as sapphire. The day he had to go was sad; all his community was in his house saying goodbye to him. Everyone since then called him “the child with the sapphires eyes”. He knew that earth and his family were history already. Before being introduced to the Gods Space he turned back his head once again and saluted with a smile all his community. Since then his mind was erased and a new Shmuel was created. Now he served these Gods, and as an apprentice he would turn to be like them in the future.

Short Fictional Story
An eye of ocean,
Sapphires float around its gently pulsing centre,
The ebony darkness breathes,
And what seemed a simple shade,
Becomes a plethora of distinct hues,
Defined in hinted flecks,
Beneath a glistening,
A shimmering,
Of flowing glass,
Calm now,
Slowly,
Carefully,
With a hint of uncertainty,
Floating sapphires around an ebony darkness,
Are blocked from view,
And with a steady sigh,
Released into sleep.

Upon the ledge,
Under the sky,
Your sapphire beauty lies.

So take my hand and dance,
Before the sky turns dark.

The wind moves coldly among the season beaten leaves
Lives flourish and despair in front of me
Cracked and sullen memories flood my mind,
I look to the horizon and see the burning indigo sunset
Gliding unto emerald grass,
I see a reflection of myself leaking out of suppressed thoughts
I see a lake full of sapphire stones, I stare at the illuminating stream
I jump and dive into the crystal waters, the thoughts wash away
And are replaced with all the beautiful things of this world
The beauty grasps at me and covers the dark and hollow parts of my mind that have troubled me all my life,
Clear blue waters as blue as lapis lazuli bouncing before my being
I feel complete and whole as I leave the warm water
Water droplets trickling between my fingers,
The thick air of melancholy is gone and I feel light and swift-footed
I make my way towards the already settled sun and now the sky is littered with starlight,
Its rosy lights captivate me and I sigh and run towards the everlasting joy awaiting me
The stars cry their approval and I fly again once more

Hey Spanish boy
Sapphire blue, doe-eyed
Maybe it's love at first sight
Button nose, cherry lips
Head of curls and voice of honey.(Too cheesy, almost like a nursery rhyme)
To Luis Roncero, my Spanish muse. I can only come up with the simplest words to picture your presence.

In stillness, and splendors of the oceans glint,
I casually walked down memory lane,
Leaving behind, lovely memories with each passing footprint.

Calming sapphire waters, creased upon the shore,
Bringing mild sudsy currents,
Crashing onto the smooth silky sands, like never before.

As sparkling seashells decorated the seaside,
Tumbling gently,
Upon the tiny creamy sprinkles of grain, as I glanced along the side.

Just when the sun illuminates,
Upon the sapphire skies,
And the clouds appear,
To slowly dance, side by side.

Shimmery, cobalt blue waters,
Perform a low sequence, on the seaside,
Leaving a bubbling blanket,
On the surface of smooth sands,
Washing away, pretentiously.

Bringing a gentle tropical zephyr,
With rhythmic sounds,
Echoing, through evergreen pinnate leaves,
Swinging gently, into the calming air.

Inspiring a magical after glow,
With dreams fulfilled,
In ecstasy,
Leaving a warm and peaceful impression.

You said you were a vampire
Burning like fire

There were stars in your eyes
Like the dark skies

You held out your arm
You mean no harm

The sun burns your skin
Slowly and slowly

Tuck your arms in again
Cause you actually felt the pain

I see bags under your eyes
I can see no lies

You haven't slept in nights
Am I right?

But, no, you're not a vampire
You're my sapphire

Bright red
Much has been said

You know I love you
Do you love me too?

You're my vampire and sapphire
Let me light your fire

It's you I desire.
