As you settle, as you lay sempiternally,
Your love shall endure eternally;
Unconditionally & absolute
Now that the winds have scattered
& the earth is tattered,
Your sun-like radiance remains

Guidance like a star
Your knowledge has no par
Such wisdom has no parallel
Care with such sincerity
Focused on others well-being
With your own being subsidiarity
Viola Morrison: 12th Of March 1945 - 1st Of December 2018

You're a tourist in my heart's land,
But you give too much reminiscence.

Your eyes, your body, your voice has become my elegy,
When you left me.

If we never meet again,
My memories of you still remain.

This heart still waiting for you,
And I realized, that I miss you.

Not an ounce of anger
nor arden rage
which typically fill the pages.
There’s a subtle calm
causing such hesitation;
a sense of being stuck.
-Restless, drifting
in a sea of tranquility.

When leaves are left on the sidewalk
the sun cooks their image into the concrete
so when the foliage is kicked up
their baked imprint remains

In reality it’s the pavement that’s changing
while the leaf shape is safe from the heat
creating a brief haven for feet

I'll remember our love
When I forget all else
You'll surely never fade

When all light's extinguished
Our love will still shine
Turning night to day

When everything ends
Nothing more remains
But this imprint of you and I

I'll one day rest in peace
But this love will live on
Long after the day I die

War
Through the walls, in the streets.
Contrasting forces in anger will meet.
Differing ideals will turn into action,
Only one will remain as a faction.
