red
.
.
is a safe color,
the color of warning and
sweet relief,
as
a man wrapped in
plastic comes to your door,
with gifts or a fire hose,
to take you away,
or
as you zip
yourself up
in a sleeping bad with
crossed
stitches.

orange is the color of fear,
of horror,
of how you bled through
my doorway when i turned
off
my lights,
plucking at my heart
when i was trying to
sleep,:
orange is the color of night
when you want it to end.

yellow are the edges of
a picture, of memories
upturned by bees, and flowers..,
and eyes that look up
out windows.
yellow stands next to brown
as my toes tickle wood
and im warmed by
the sun,
yellow are the walls of my kitchen.

green is a gray color;
a neutral that fuels fire
with
mint swirls that surround me,
as
i wish
to run into a forest, hoping
i could somehow
drown a swamp with your body,
or
eat alligators alive.
.
i swear that i
would.

blue is left the saddest color,
ripping stains through
the sky
and leaving oceans with no
islands,
.
blue is the feeling of nostalgia
as you pray to planets
you'll never reach,
wishing for a hole to crawl into,
and a zipper for your heart.
singing
is blue, and so is
night.

purple is a royal color,
the color of a dress behind glass,
as children's laughter
tinkles and a man folds up his
coat; leather.
purple is the color of cake, or
the toys in a baby's room
and
my sheets before i cry.

black is the aftershock of sleep,
and of beauty,
as you stare at the floor from
your place on the couch and
wonder why it hurts.

i look at the sky everyday.
my personal feelings about all of the colors. a lot of these are based on memories that i have. Starts off weak but i think it ends strong. idk. life has been tough lately

Love makes the inevitable, inviting
The darkness of death looming
Like a dark cloud on the brightest day
Undefeated
Love's rays of sunshine can not stop the rain
But each drop now has the potential to bow
Bringing a joy, we could never imagine

On that day,
After a light rain,
I was with coffee,
My dream was wet
So the afternoon.

In between,
Comforting breeze,
Aging afternoon,
Mischievous cloud,
And silent sky,

Suddenly on right-east side,
From the heaven to earth,
Seven colors united,
And spread the sky.
A rainbow.

A mystique being,
Without measure,
Rain’s treasure,
Sky’s lover,
Dream’s color.
A rainbow.

If my presence,

Is like a cloud to your sky,

That dimmed your world.

I will walk away;

And rain on another.

Perhaps they would be waiting;

For the rainbow after the rain.

Keep walking on, until your legs are strong,
I'm waiting for the sunrise, but it won't be too long.

The ghosts that are draped in paper,
float along; room to room, heart to dreams.
Taking a longer route, because it's safer,
but more hazardous, than it seems.

Keep walking on, until your legs are strong,
As long as you are living, you're not doing wrong.

The lights that flash in our eyes,
keeping time; second to minute, minute to hour.
Living as a cloud in the skies,
blocking sunshine, taking life from the flower.

Keep walking on, until your legs are strong,
go a little further, you're almost furlong.

The pillows that trap our visions,
soften blows, keeps our secrets, absorbs the tears.
Wrapped up in the sheets, and all decisions,
of the next coming years.

Keep walking on, until your legs are strong,
live for everyday and love the world's song.
Keep walking on, until you belong.

I stood below a rainbow bright,
and I did make a wish.
I wished to be yes rained upon
with all its colors rich.

Suddenly a bird flew by.
He pierced the colors so,
out they came right on me.
The colors they did glow.

They shined and disappeared in me.
I don’t know where there went.
All I know I feel so blessed.
and gratitude I sent.

I sent it out cause now I feel,
empowered and so strong.
Inside of my sacred life,
I know I can’t do wrong.

Now I plant yes rainbow seeds
of love that grow so grand.
Life is a gift as I dance,
upon the sacred land.
