Leave me
Late-night dreaming
On rose-painted canvases
And grayscale prints,
While the rain
Hums a tune of
Pitter-patter
Melodies.
I'm thinking of creating a non-profit literary journal to give y'all a platform to submit poems for publications.  Would you guys be down for that?

Should you see a wet-looking bird,
Pecking outside your window pane,
You can easily make a guess,
He wants to get in from the rain.

Go and open the window wide,
And let the feathered fellow in,
Then you can give him some dry crumbs
And corn bits on a plate of tin.

This simple act of kindliness,
And seeing him picking his food,
Will have you more than satisfied,
And leave you feeling very good.

And the wet bird that cannot speak,
Will no longer be feeling weak.

Fading away
Like tears in the rain
My mind used to act like a shadow that hides when its late
I wandered through dreams
With no escape to be seen

But since I met you
The rain no longer teems
It still falls
But its softer
Like your lips on my cheek

I am in love with you
More than I could ever explain
Tonight let us meet in the depths of our dreams

I wish it would cry
Keep company
To this lonely soul

And match its whining
In the obscure void
All surrounding

Water fresh
kissing the soil
Petrichor breathing
through heavy clouds
into flesh
Lungs opening to new air

Souls let the thunder
Speak for them
And they become silent

i have been scared of death
since the day i learnt i was alive;

blue ***** drops rise
from the heart of the ocean
reaching for the forbiden place,
reaching for brightest star
that will bring their end.

for them we are as irrelevant
as an orange cloud in a storm;
the raindrops which fall on our faces
are pure and cold, but carry
the gold.
read this slowly and think about how small we really are. but it all has a purpose and i belive in it. (staying indoors is not too good for me:)

And it waited a moment longer than a moment’s pause

It was rain resisting its temper, attempting tenderness

Each drop the poignant pain in a patient bladder when you hold to hear the end

Then, it drowned the saplings in the gutter

a violent politeness
an apology for impeding
a housewarming gift

The sky amidst
I think of those I miss
Even a day could change
Things we never thought age

I think of us
Sitting on the bus
I will change for us
Why am I holding a dry husk

Of the people I fought for
Some not anymore
Some are ropes
I pull no hopes

I would go back
My mind playbacks
I walk on empty shells
My heart aches as hell

You people are here
But can you hear
My thoughts that linger
Maybe you no longer tingle

The rain still patters
I am in fetters
The sky hangs amiss
I wonder about those I miss
an unpublished quatrain written some time back; fitting for all who’ve lost someone this bitter year, those unable/trying to move on with life

it's raining again.
It's been raining a lot lately.
I rush outside with jars usually,
tonight I sit under
and I fill myself up.
my hair clings to my neck
my face
my soul.
I close my eyes,
dipping myself in and out of
the sky's tears
in hopes that she'll never recognize
the difference if I were
to be extracting tears of my own.
There will soon be no distinction
between me and the wet.
catching a breath, I peer up
I blink so much I'm surprised I can find the clouds
They shield Gaia from the cold
I count the stars, though I mistake
the majority of raindrops for the plasma.
So I tilt down,
face to Hell
my hair curtains around me
as if a cat had torn them into nothing but
clumpy pieces of string,
and recognize the puddle of a person,
through blurry sockets,
that I can no longer hide from.
I'm in a weird writing mood. I don't write many long things anymore, though, as we see
