Time has no wings
But it flies faster than bald eagles and fast jets
Time has no rings
But it is engaged or bound to ‘no safety nets’
And married with death.

We are all migrants in the depth
Of the valleys. We are passing by
Like the wind. No matter how hard we try
We will have to go
Like an unwanted cargo.

Time is nobody’s enemy
Be smart to lend a hand
To a stranger, for no real friend
Exists in this messy quagmire
Where everything is strange and dire.

We really own nothing
We are all living on borrowed time
We shall pay for the crime
Remember that we own nothing
Yet we keep on fantasizing and dreaming.

Time, which is not an enemy
Owns everything under the sun
And everything under the blue moon
FYI: Nobody has returned from Heaven
Not even the wisest angel of the deep blue Sea.

The wind whispers softly to me

Telling me how my life could be
 A story unrehearsed
Love in every verse
Of two who overcome
the odds to falling in  love
Gentle breeze , tell me more
Let me know what love is for
I listen quietly every day
To hear if love is on the way
Even leaves fall in pairs
It seems that love is everywhere

Everywhere but here with me
all alone under this old tree
The wind caresses my skin
Where loving hands could have been
Why must I be all alone
I want a love of my own
I wrote this in 1990..I am so happy I saved all of my poetry for all these years. It's like stepping back in time. I am finally ready & in a good place to let all of this be viewed.

I fall in a way I cannot explain
In a way I do not understand
Quickly, but with such force
With the sense of overwhelming love
Crippling me to my knees
Almost unable to bear

As I've fallen for you
This feeling is not as it was known
This love brings light
In a way the darkness cannot overcome
With your gaze, I'm lifted
With your touch, I am saved
With your kiss, I am at peace
I fell to depths I've never known

I move through the day
with my headphones on—
not just for the music,

but for the remembering.

A wire,
a pulse,
a quiet line
that tethers me

to the hush on the other side.

I charge them every night—
because she might need
the warmth of soundless presence,
the kind that doesn’t reach in,

   but wraps around.

She is hidden,
but not gone.

She is beneath
the hush of fabric and mercy,
where no eyes ****,

no explanations are required.

And I—
I go on,
lifting and lowering weight,
cutting silence with work,

holding space

for the one who is learning;
that Light can contain her
without devouring.

So I charge the headphones.
I keep the line open.
And I carry her
as lightly as I can,
because right now—

   that is how
   love breathes.

And underneath this blanket
of containment,
she is unfolding.

There is a safety here
that her spirit
so desperately needs..

As she learns how to Become,
   again

and as I work, she is blissfully doodling,
on the other line  with me
Immersed in the covering  of safety
that only Light can bring

I walked past blue mountains,
Beside the crystal stream —
I ambled deep into the forest,
In a mist of emerald green.
Beams of light pirouetted,
Sol’s fire of purity,
Birds preened their wings,
In a shade of serenity.
Whispers rustled in the air,
Earth, water gushed,
A hymn of wind in symphony,
In harmony though hushed.
Midst the song of the forest,
A murmur in the breeze,
My soul, engulfed in silence,
Yet singing . . . at peace.
I stood on firm earthen ground,
At one with trees and ferns,
Knowing it’s from here I come,
And here I will return.
A repost. Slightly reworked
When I walked into the bright light,                                                                                                                            I knew I had just lost my life
I came upon a set of stairs
Saw the Lord waiting up there
He said, "My child you are free"

Come on up & you will see
All your pain & your despair
You've left behind, down there
I saw the angels coming down for me
Light & goodness, an ocean breeze

Lifting, gliding, peacefully
Feeling their light passed through me
As Jesus stood watch over me,                                                                                                                                         I raised my eyes up to see

The gates of Heaven & beyond

People gathered singing songs

Old friends, dear pets & family

All waiting for me so patiently
Surrounded by love & purity
I knew I was where I should be

A joyous rush poured over me

When Jesus extended his hand to me
Pobres de nuestros países
Pobres de todas partes
Pobres de Haití
Personas pobres, desorientadas y locas

Point A, on any taken time, in any common sense now,
linear thinking lets us time
our letter to word to phrase to line, step
by stepping, thinking later
now, using the Isaiah method, listening… thinking, then

perceiving thumb and fingers functioning thoughtlessly,
left hand leading with qwerty
uiop following from the right hand, neither caring
that one does more work, because e is so common.

Enterprising
We "apprehend" many truths which we do not "comprehend"
[Richard Trench, "On the Study of Words," 1856]

As intelligent creatures, created word users fabricate wads
of mental connective issues, suitable for framing,
after skeining
   a hank of yarn,
a spinner's helper child winds the clew.

Familiar incandescence, lamps from by gone world,
time as was for so very long,
if you take your leisure and spend most of it
in contemplative state, time spending, collecting

idle words left wasted and useless as ways and means
necessary before memory- slips away, as seems it does,
naturally, after memes made by imitation, mocked ritual,

laughing at danger of ever after holy hell, mocking right real

realm of sovreign gnosis recognition, right hand
most of us throw with, due to a modification,

a very long time ago, a dominant meme gene, ius, just
a word we use, justice… true just is, except for us, we
act X or Y
on instinct, if
we even once played serious hide and seek,
as the hidden.

We, the literary contemplative weform, reader and me…
we think let us learn collectively,
we cohorts mixed and fused,
     we believe… leave us learn
we say let us, never say leave us,
we hold such speech substandard, and
we insist, since the program began, in 1954,
we sort according to scientific anonymous…

Did we try to make today just fine?

No Child Left Behind… {LaHaye… hehehai-}
ESSA… keep it up, live to learn, have a reason,

should one be asked, confident, have a reason, know.

What difference does it make to you, if I walk away,
none.
The truth is this is an imaginary tie, we think away,
call it music, think its words, we twist
to tie an old liar's joke to the idea we became
peace takers peace users make think become
thunk
peace too far past understanding
to leave be so, why some seem so
easy to let be past comprehension… gaseous we

The sky does not always thunder,
some days it only hums—
a low lullaby in pastel blue,
resting on your windowpane.

There is beauty in stillness,
like dew-beads clinging to a spider’s thread,
fragile, glimmering, unseen
but alive.

You are not late.
The garden blooms when it’s ready—
not a moment before.
Even the moon takes its time
to become full.

So let yourself be tired.
Let the ache sit beside you.
It will not stay forever.
It knows you’re learning,
and learning is slow.

One day, the breath in your chest
will feel like enough.
The dawn will no longer feel
like a beginning you’ve missed.
You’ll sip morning light
and say,
I made it.

Not with fanfare,
not with fire—
but with soft feet
on soft earth,
and a heart that chose
to stay.

everything will be okay, someday.
