Methuselah, Noah's grandfather lived 969 years - it is a myth
A Henslo Sep 2017
What antiquated tongue as such
Hissed Eden's serpent to get in touch?
Angelic would probably not be true
Possibly Arabic or perhaps Hebrew
But almost certainly it wasn't Dutch

What dikes would Noah's land comprise
If these polder pros had been about
And the deluge struck fields fitted out
With some deft water controlling device?
Would we have preserved our paradise?

On

my

deathbed,

I hope that I am visited by
what I think are angels

or demons
(it doesn’t really matter which)

and,

as I wheeze out my last breath,
they reveal to me

that I was actually an alien
from another world

trapped
in the misshapen body of a human

for the entirety
of my existence—

all 28,000-or-so

days of it.

Because
then,

my role in
this whole charade

would finally make sense:

all of the mind-numbing

awkwardness

and suffering

and bullying

and incomprehensibility

of the world

laid out before me—

a picnic for a malnourished soul
to finally feast upon,

a glistening Colorado River to drink from

and,

at long last,
to rest beside.

zeus and eros conspire
but they cannot light love's fire
in the hollows of her heart
enclosed by a work of art
a carefully crafted shroud
that wards off every cloud

noah's eyes glimmer green
at the sight of her machine
rain shies from withering skin
that her sorry soul is hiding in
she watches it relay to the floor
"will i feel if it falls more?"

she's only left alone in thought
as it grants life to all she's not
all the world will change and grow
and unless earth forbids it so
she'll spend eternity in her cover
just watching - no one to love her
Talk to me, can you hear me O’ Lord?
Send me something that I can not ignore,
Staring at seas from the cold lonely shore,
What of future?
Can the angels be calling?

I was young when you embraced me,
When you opened my mind to the world’s mystery,
I came home and started a family,
Three bundles of joy near a bountiful sea,
…and this life?
Has the Age begun falling?

Cattle left unattended and the goats without shepherd?
Were sacrifices left for the goat, bull, crab or leopard?
Battened down hatches as rains poured in the cube,
The square in the circle that Saturn had drew,
Eerie creaks, minor leaks, anxiety and the fear,
Prophesied, built as planned, as the waters drew near,

Talk to me, I am struggling O’ Lord,
Is this it? The message that cannot be ignored,
I was young when you embraced me,
When you showed me the wonders of the land and the sea,
I built you this house and filled it with Thee,
Will we make it?
The waves are appalling...

One Man knew where his place was with god, inundation, extirpation, traded hammer for rod.

A Great Bird of Paradise, was beckoning her call, swarms of bats and songbirds ahead of the squall.

Open the porthole; we are saving them all, as the ship sets loose as the giants did fall.

Drop the rope, do it now, so we can, plumb the depth,
She cried out;

“Where to live, who will rule and what shall be left?”

“O’ Noah!”

I’m now old, but will you embrace me?
I now know you’ve been there since the dawning of history,
We’re adrift, all is lost and their drowning in sea,
Nothing’s left, but the gig-an-to-machy,
The reigns of your horse are now pulling us free,

“Release all the doves for I know now that he is with me!”

“O’ Noah!”

They were young, when you embraced us,
You gave us your love and did what you must,
I have given my life, for all that was needed,
Serpent’s mount, where we stood, as the waters receded,

*“O’ Lord! Oh…”
"Ara," is a constellation known in the Sumerian original as, "the rock, mountain, ledge and Bird of Paradise." Consequently, these elements all happen to be in the story of Noah, Gilgamesh and Ziusudra versions. If you take apart the names etymologically to their roots you find the name itself is the original myth for Noah is Nu-Ah which means, "Flood!," and Ziusudra means, "An action of water." Therefore, Mount Ara-At where Noah's ark rested is actually a constellation which is what Frances Rolleston claims in her book, "Mazzaroth," that the people from the region, until modern Christianity, said that all of these stories were based on celestial elements that were present in the night-time sky. No one who lived in the Middle East believed these stories were real. The Sumerian story of Nuah was an attempt to explain how the Sun divided the celestial waters exposing land for man to live on which happens to parallel, exactly, both the Phoenician and Egyptian versions of creation.

The Greek version called the, "Argo," was a constellation formed of all the center constellations from Orion north and south. 'G' was transposable with 'K' across most ancient languages. In Sumerian, "Ara-at," means, "serpent's mountain."

My sources are books by L.A. Waddell, Max Mueller, Samuel Kramer, Frances Rolleston, George ***, Karl Penka and E.A. Wallis Budge.
My heart is still where the white dove sails
Looking for rest at morning
Apart from will light's love prevails
Seeking a blessed mooring

There are some who fool around
With human DNA
They say it's a progessive step
For the world today.

The deciphered human genome
Is a plaything in their hands
Just a toy to then employ
And change the state of man.

"Change your child's DNA!
He's strong as a horse!
He can be, and he can see
Like a hawk, of course!"

Just like in the movies
They've conditioned us for that.
Vampires and werewolves
And woman morphed to cat!

We can all be cyborgs!
Robotic legs and things!
We can be like Batman
But with automated wings!

Let's just look at Genesis
Look at chapter 6
Those beast/man Nephilim
Did actually exist!

The Watchers came and mated
With human women fair
The Sons of God were demons,
So we'd best have a care!

God had to drown the demon-spawn
To save the human race
The waters flooded over them
And there was not a trace.

Now God found Noah perfect
For he had a pure bloodline
There was in him no change
From God's original design.

Now, folks, what will happen
When human beings aspire
To be like animals yet again?
This time there'll be
FIRE!!!

What about our tender hearts?
Do they matter anymore?
The world's consumed with evil
You'd best know what's in store.

When we're no longer human
But have a cyborg mind
Will mankind ever be the same?
Godly? Loving?
KIND?

Humans enslaved for weakness
Do you find that odd?
We will be a "Super Race"
Usurp the Will of God.

Will there be salvation?
Or will it be too late?
When men go and take the role
Of the God they hate?

Be glad that God loves us!
For we were made like Him.
He wants to take us from this place!
He wants us to
WIN!!!

Is this all science fiction?
Watch the news! It's
PLANNED!
Babies being altered
To unnatural lifespans!

Because of overweening pride
We mess with things divine
Enter human suffering -

*
EXIT HUMANKIND.
"The Island of Dr Moreau"
Just a book? A couple of movies?

I once heard of an old man who was
dying. He told his son a story.
He had been in WWII stationed in the south Pacific. He was ordered to
place explosives in a cave. He went in and what he saw froze his blood
rock solid. There were CHILDREN
IN THERE. In cages. Some had feathers. Some had scales.
ALL WERE IN  A G O N Y.

He placed the explosives trembling
like a leaf. When he emerged, pale
as marble, he asked about the children. He was told never to speak
of it again, for he would not be believed. His commanding officer told him, "We won't be killing them.
It is a MERCY. THEY ARE DEAD ALREADY."

He wept bitterly on conveying this
confession to his son. He said he had
never told a soul, but couldn't die
in peace for the knowledge.

THE HUMAN GENOME HAS BEEN
DECIPHERED FOR MANY YEARS.

Science fiction? You can comfort
yourselves with that...

BUT WHAT IF IT'S  T R U E ???

In the dunes, the dust raises a dirge
echoing in the nooks of Qardu:
prophet of the pasts, a ghoul
who led an arc on to the mountain
singed by the daystar where now,
men cut their hands to quench infant-thirsts.
And outraged women wail into the nights.
All for this? All for this? The anguished
song in the valley in an archaic tongue
that the Spirit stands surveying
that called out a fire off a bush, leading
a nation out of wilderness. Now, who
delight in murdering children.
The emperor of the world, is busy playing ball
offering the slaughtered heads to Quetzalcoatl,
and a beating heart plucked out
of a terrified infidel does not move him
as much as the stench of oil. Black
is the song of despair whispering in the smoke
blighting the reign of K'inich Ajaw,
all for this, Marya, all for this?
And the chief of Angles is dismayed, the
spoils of crusades blow back as young men
disappear from your homes, emerging
as butchers in black baying for slaughter,
journeying to the worlds end with
Gilgamesh along the Tigris.
1. Mount Judi or Qardu close to Mt. Sinjar the site of Yazidi massacres is the place traditionally thought to be the landing site of Noah's arc.
2. Gilgamesh is the ancient epic King of Sumer who journeyed to the world's end to investigate death
3. Quetzalcoatl and K'inich Ajaw are Maya figures
4. Marya is the Aramaic word for 'Lord'

This is not a love poem.
That was not love I fell in.
Rose covered graves,
is it death that I'm smelling ?

Fate knocks on my door
and I don't bat an eye.
"Fate can't be ignored !"
well neither can I.

Winter spread across the world
as the days went by.
My men fled the lands
to catch the last of the tides.

Preachers deep in prayer,
seek refuge from the skies.
Monasteries abandoned
in pursuit of the tides.

Drowning in herself,
in service to her pride.
Not a law left unbroken
now show me one I can abide.

Mountains took shelter
where I chose to reside.
Born to the storms that
cast terror upon the tides.

The storms called my name
until I saw it in those eyes.
Disbelief had all but claimed
what I'd salvaged from the tides.
Noah.

You came into my life at the most crucial time
When I needed reassurance that it wasn't me
That it wasn't my fault
You make me laugh and you make me feel good
I can finally be myself after dimming myself for so long
I like talking to you and I like hearing your voice
You respect me and you treat me like a person, not a trophy
I don't know where this will lead,
But thank you for coming into my life
