You’re so polite
and always on time.
Your smile is bright
and lunch is on your dime.
You’re thoughtful and smart--
so intellectually inclined.
I’m rough-edged,
and sometimes offend.
I’m moody and fiery;
I don’t like to pretend.
I might jump to conclusions;
I’d rather break than bend.
But if you were in trouble,
I’d be there on the double.
If trouble fell on me,
you’d tell me plainly
that you’ve got other obligations
to your job and your relations.
So this message I will send:
This friendship must end.
I’ve got no use
for a fair weather friend.
Wrote this poem three years ago after the end of a friendship.

What is the price of loyalty?
Of strife and grief present in me,
For long gone, sundry, royalty,
Which accused me of heresy.

For tightness and regret I feel,
On errant ship in windless sea,
I’ve been laid bare upon the keel,
My wrongs displayed for all to see.

I hear them still rowing the oars,
I still long for those distant shores,
My dreams still filled with thoughts of home.

Yet all desire I possess
Shall bring me nothing, nonetheless,
For all the fault is still my own.

It seems to me
That many people nowadays
Only want blind loyalty
From other people
They don't want
To be questioned
They don't want
To be told they are wrong
They just want
People who never question anything
That they do
And I say that is B.S.
Because believe it or not
The people who really care
Who truly love you
The ones you can really trust
Are the ones not afraid to tell you
"You are being dumb."
Because you can trust to know
They aren't lying
Real friends are the ones who will look you dead in the eye and call you on your crap. They don't just stand idly

The way you hold my hand is like a warm blanket reminding me of home
There is a seriousness to the way you play with my fingers
And the way you look at me, that I have to look away
I know that you're afraid that I might be a trick of the light
Even lightning that might strike twice
Something that you cannot grasp
Although I tell you my blood looks for solid stuff
I myself am made of wisp and air
Here is me being in your lungs as least

.
He lays in peaceful repose upon a sheet of satin,
she moves up to his body and curls into him,
placing her head upon his unmoving chest,
unconditional grief shown in mute sadness.
She recalls his voice filled with love and affection,
his familiar scent now gone, cold and musty,
as deaths sweet perfume hangs heavy
like a drape of choking intoxicant trance.
Moments stretch blandly into minutes of ache,
the minutes career into hours of silent vigil.
And with her head upon his unmoving chest
she exhales and whimpers her final sigh,
a last breath and she submissively slips away.
Hoping, perchance, once more to hear
her masters voice.

Because you're the one I've been waiting for. The strongest, outspoken, funny, gorgeous woman I've ever met.

There's just not enough words I can use to describe how you make me feel,  let alone how I feel about you.

I won't lie to you and say I can't live without you but I can honestly say with each passing moment of my life I look forward to our next encounter.

I love how amazing you are by just being who you are, you don't pretend to be anything else because you know your true self is a gift to this world.

A person with heart problems would have died by know if their heart was beating as fast as mine within your presence.

Do I love you?  I believe so Yes. Whether you choose to believe me or not, you made my day everyday each time I saw you, even when it was just for a brief moment regardless of whether we speak to each other or not, just the fact that I saw you was enough to shed light on my day.

I want you to be a part of my life, I can't promise you a smooth sailing ride to happily ever after but I can promise you Loyalty, Respect, Support, Kindness, Humour and most Love.

I think I have double vision
When I look at you
I see the real you and the fake you
I see how you feel about me
But I also see the facade you try to show me

Why are there two sides of you
Why can’t there just simply be you
With no disguise and fabricated exterior
That you leave for the naive and gullible people

Well, I won’t have it
I see through your bluffs and your veil
So don’t expect me to love you
Because if I am to love you
I want to love you for you
And not this mirage you display

Yeah it's over!  that's what you said right?
Now you see what I can do just by tonight,
No more reading our conversations,
Will stop adoring every photo i have ours in any folder  in every location,
Even those ones which I got printed ,
From the black n brown nostalgic film tinted,
Tinted in memories which I can never forget,
I'll try to consider that the person except me in the photos is dead ,
No more looking for your last seen on WhatsApp,
Will unstar all the best conversations we had ,
Stop remembering every word you said to me,
Even they are not so good or extremely sweet,
I'll stop writing for you,
No more poems nor a single thought even if have to stop thinking I'll do,
I will move on I guess but I know I lost by best friend,
I'll try to do all of the above things I said ,
You left me! may be it's just a bad dream  may be it's not the truth,
I wish you could understand these feelings not all of them but you didn't tried for few.

The cruelty of our passions
Burnt down into small pieces of ashes
By those who despise us
Even though this very country
Was built on freedom of speech
So although we keep fighting
Hoping to win this battle
Between all odds
We’ll keep attacking
With the power of words
And the power of the human soul
We’ll raise hell if we have to
For that is who we are
We are the brilliant,
The omnipotent,
The spontaneous
Hell Raisers
