When I finally meet you the pain of the past will dissipate
It will not be displayed as it is no longer visible
Cloaked by the warmth of your embrace

Patience is a slippery *****
As if it is the very sand inside an hourglass
It becomes thin and runs out

Don't worry though,
Just as an hourglass my patience too resets
However with every reset I become a little more hopeless

So please, shatter my hourglass and stay with me as we count into infinite
While the idea of time running out becomes a faded memory
Let us stay forever within our own time here in eternity

The fruit of your trees, they are beautiful,
But they have been broken away.
Hatred and fear covered your eyes,
Forcing you to live without love.
Blinded by darkness,
No longer
Love.
Peace and forgiveness
Fear cannot bring
What love we desire,
But it was ripped away from our hearts.
Fear overwhelmed us,
I lay in wait for it to over take me.
Love
Gone and stripped away by
Darkness and fear.
No more!
Kindness
For the loved

For the loved,
Kindness.
No more
Darkness and fear!
Gone and stripped away by
Love.
I lay in wait for it to over take me.
Fear overwhelmed us,
But it was ripped away from our hearts.
What love we desire
Fear cannot bring.
Peace and forgiveness,
Love.
No longer
Blinded by darkness.
Forcing you to live without love.
Hatred and fear covered your eyes,
But they have been broken away.
The fruit of your trees, they are beautiful
Fight for love, do not let darkness over take you.
Take over darkness with LOVE!

Freeing from the shackles of the past
trickling down to a catharsis
at the slender neck of the hourglass,
the golden grains of sand
dribble down
to create my reality.

Unhurriedly they flow,
with me they flow
into the forgottenness of the past  they flow,
to rise like a Phoenix
clothed in the newness
of the present
to create a new me!

Fleeing from the shackles of yesterday,
trickling down to a catharsis
at the slender neck of the hourglass,
the golden grains dribble down
to create my present.

My days out-flowing
the forgottenness of the past
creating a newness
that explodes in every cell!

drops of rain dripping down
my window pane.
no matter how fast they fall,
they never seem to finish.
i wait, slowly and painfully.
i look again at my reflection
on the window.
those aren't raindrops.
now, for whom are these tears?
monsoon season is in, once again. i'm feeling many emotions, twice too many. i think raindrops are equal to the bits of falling sand in an hourglass.

Awaken Star Dragon,
dance endlessly astray.
A universe on fire,
please take me away.

Astral wings we travel,
to a distant land.
Lift me from this moment,
of endless falling sand.

I wake up when the morning takes its first few breaths and it guides my lungs along,
it says;
breathe, breathe child,
it's true you're in the bottom bulb of the hourglass,
but it's not the sand you're drowning in,
it's your thoughts.

we built empires in our minds that no one else could inhabit
we had never seen the world that's outside of our walls
we hadn't ever let go of anything that we created
we couldn't have controlled ourselves after
we started something that wouldn't end
we hadn't had the chance to run
we were running out of time
we hadn't had any options
we were afraid of what
we had become
but after all...
we tried being what
we weren't and all that
we thought that we wanted
we slow danced in mcdonald's
we explored abandoned buildings
we had photo shoots in parking lots
we stargazed on the hood of your vintage car
we lived as much as we could because we knew
we wouldn't last much longer than the last ones but
we were at least willing to try and love before we ended
We were everything that everyone wanted. We were everything that everyone needed. We were everything.
