Lately, all I can feel is despair,
Finding for love everywhere

People threw out their arms and called it home,
However, in reality, all they wanted was to me be alone

I could measure my significance,
Yet I wondered have I made a difference

Only to see myself dwelling into invisibility, Releasing pain by saying, I hate everybody

Hated upon everybody,
Yet couldn’t find reasons by anybody

Puzzled! what have I done wrong?
Do I have to suffer in this misery lifelong?

Day by day only exceeding my tolerance,
Will I ever get my Solomon?

My only wish was to be a part of something,
But fate had only written nothing

Reached out for help with a glimpse of hope, Figured out that the almighty replied nope

Never knew helping others can be harmful,
Until others acknowledged me as awful

Each day I gave up, also yelled I am done,
Only to find myself weak and burned

Now I know I do not want to be a part of this,
Remember this time I will not be there to pull you out of the abyss.

Once, I wrote down all my happenings.

On an old paper

Invaded by a stranger

Myriads of night, crying

My friend has been exposed

"Hatred" is the thing with claws-

that slices through us all.

And leaves a wound without it healed-

then, captures for it's thrall.

Torn by it's embrace with pride.

It infects all that it leaves behind.

But love could be it's mend

that keeps our hearts enshrined.

I've seen it rip and tear lives-

and play with them like prey.

Yet, never, in experience

it suppresses love with it's pain.

The intentions of the colour speak ill.
As the designer weeps in tears
The white is a filthy colour of all
As the double green symbolises hunger.

The great groundnut pyramids stand as statutes.
Termites scavenge the remnants.
Who can stop the difficulties of the nation?
A patriot, coward, cattle rustler or an alien!

The blood of the unsung heroes
Colour the flag of the nation
Bemoaning signs of failed leadership.
Who led the actions of 10102020?
The Camouflage, Alausa, Aso Rock or the Unseen forces!

Men suffer from avarice
Crowd symbolises poverty
Likening to the extortions of palliatives
Under the framework of bureaucracy.

Insecurity is a fast acting disease.
Pouring into every cell,
thickening the lens,
distorting view.
Erupt in jealousy,
tension fills the chest, breathing deep feels sharp.

Pick at their flaws,
make them feel small, tempt them to inch down to your level.
Do what you can, in every desperate attempt,
But the self disgust still radiates off your skin.

The unjustified hatred will
consume you,
convince you,
that you truly are the victim.

But it is merely a sickness that will eat you away.

Melanin shields my body
From the harsh
Ever present sun above
And
Grants me assurance
Anytime i catch her rays
That cancer,
Shall
Not prevail over me.

My covering
Halts my youth
From crumbling,
Compelling all
To speculate my age.

Children of Europe!
Do not gaze at my blackness
With contempt,
Nor caste judgment on
Me when a lover of trouble
With
My complexion goes forth
Stirring trouble.

For all ethnicities,
House impurities.

You are the sunshine I never wanted
When the moon draws back at morn
You are a tragedy I long to forget
Laced with waste my past you adorn

Die alone
Get out.
