The rain is a positive thing. As it fills our reservoirs.
Yet it's so attuned to standing for the sadness in our hearts.
I appreciate the rain. For being something that is so cold,
Yet brings life all the same, to these, such weary bones.

And she said
I don't think I love you any more
You never seem to call me lately
Girl I don't think you know me at all
Because I never thought I'd have to say this
But I don't love you
And I never did look at us
Burning down in flames for kicks
Ripping up roads for licks
But just know
I'm not Writing for your xo
I'm just Writing because it's over

Sa maraming taon na ating pagsasama
Maghihiwalay para sa panibagong gera
Bawat istorya tumatak sa utak nitong makata
Wag kayong iiyak, tayo'y muling magkikita.

A special 4 bars set up for my batch mates in Highschool. It's also a Filipino poem written in our own language, tagalog.

Almost made it to the state line.
I was headed your way
To give you a piece of my mind
Because I've got a whole hell of a lot to say.

I wanted to tell you
How much it hurt
When I finally knew
That all my hopes were shattered.

I wanted to scream
So very many things
About the pain I've endured
And the losses incurred.

I wanted you to feel
The shame and loss and guilt
I think should be forcing you to kneel
And beg for forgiveness.

But then I passed the sign
That changed Central to Mountain time,
And I realized I can't change your mind,
And the words on my lips died.

So turned my car around
And drove the 6 hours back to town
And home.

And when I'd relayed
What I had attempted today
To a couple of friends
I knew this was the start of the end

Of me giving you
Another thought,
Another chance,
Another moment of my time,
Another place in my life.

Do you know what they said
When I finished my story?
"Thank you for turning around.
Thank you for coming home."

And they're right, you know.
I am finally home.

Lets build an empire
we can start with a single city
lets paint the roofs pink
with ebony black streets
i want power-lines like spiders webs
and *** plants dangling of eves like candy canes
i want love to be the currency
and replicate

lets build an empire
roads joining our cities like spindled wool
lets tunnel through the mountains in our path
and bridge the Atlantic
lets infect the world
our citizens of love,
lets make the only dictionary definition of race define
the act of running from one side of a field to another

Lets build an Empire
A world where dreamers are called human
and your sadness is almost as  irreverent,
as your plan to paint the moon purple
and make tails an optional extra at birth
I want the world joined by routes our fingers traced
on the globe in your room,
i want the stars to spell out or names like the light shade on your ceiling

you
are my foundations
and with your gracious consent
i would love nothing more , then upon your soil
to lay the foundations of my dreams
our empire.

come my darling, lets make plans

I come from ****** noses and scraped knees.
Bright blue eyes holding onto the promise of tomorrow
that will never come.
I come from optimism,
forever filled with the hope of
something better.
I come from sugar coated lies
Spoken from caved lips of hidden truth.
I come from pangs of anxiety, balled fists and damp eyes.
I come from the heartbeat in my ear drums that cannot be escaped.
I close my eyes, but fire burns brighter in the darkness.

I come from misconception.
I begin to understand the world for what it is.
I come from a new beginning; hopeful of a better start to something new, but forever fearful.
I come from power, of a stronger person that has been painfully carved along the way.
It is all a matter of perspective.

'Life is still a blank canvas', he said.

So she told him to paint a house.
All fenced up,
And to color the grass extra green.
(So that temptation wouldn't court him)

'Why that picture?', he asked.

She replied, *'Because no matter where you go,

Your roots should always bring you home.'

'Because even if the sky is the limit,
And you reach it, the greenest grass
Even from way up above,
will always be your beacon.'

'Because change should be a shade vibrant,
Only then change could mean growth.'

'Because that home you build,
Will be your resting place.
After you've conquered your dreams--
It'll be your place of ease.'

'And', she said, 'because marks and goals
are set first,

the course decided later.
Lastly, *because those pictured endings,
are the best place to begin.'
For a fresh start...
