I think you’re neat
So we meet in heat
Between the sheets
But after the feat
We begin to speak
And smell what reeks

I don’t want to lose a catch
Because our views don’t match
So I become too attached
To the ruined batch
Of fumes I hatched

We try to force a square peg into a round hole
Until we’re a pair of legs on the ground cold
Trying to sound bold
Like we’ve found gold
While we’re down low
Where we drown slow
With a brown nose

You force the issue
So I dismiss you
Making a lit fuse
Out of my bliss muse
That I misused

I force your hand
So you take a stand
And follow your plan
Brandishing a brand
That’ll make me grand
If I live off your land

I want to run free with the horses
Away from the illuminating torches
Of your controlling forces
Acting like college courses
That don’t require sources

We’ve explored this door
To its core
Let’s say no more
While we’re on the shore
Instead of hitting the floor
Of what’s in store

We simply weren’t compatible people
So let’s move on to our sequels
While seeing each other as equals
That weren’t forced into a deep hole
Of the other’s blind forceful evil

Water and loose gravel
Tumble down mountains.
Stems, leaves, and branches
Grow toward the sun
And sway with the breeze.
Stalactites form and drip,
While stalagmites grow below.
When lava has nowhere else to go,
It bursts through the surface of the earth.
The planets spin and turn,
The stars burn and send light flying,
The ocean spits out dead things.
Objects in motion continue moving forward
Forever.
Everything in nature
Follows the path of least resistance
Including mankind.
Every path was forged,
Every rail road was built,
Every highway was paved
Because it was easier than the alternative.
Every skyscraper went up,
Every paycheck went down,
Every war was fought
Because it was easier than the alternative.
Imaginary lines were drawn,
Around everyone and everything,
And we learned to believe they were real
Because it was easier than the alternative.
We followed the path of least resistance
And now everything is easy.
Being so poor that you can’t afford food is easy.
Living with disease and cancer,
Rotting from the inside out
Because you can’t afford to go to the hospital is easy.
Getting bullied, harassed, and beaten
Because you act or look different is easy.
Getting ***** without ever seeing
A shred of justice or remorse is easy.
Being gunned down by the very people
Who promised to serve and protect you is easy.
Everything in nature
Follows the path of least resistance
Including mankind.
Objects in motion
Continue moving forward
Forever…
Unless they are
Compelled to change direction
By an external force.
You can be the external force that changes history.  We all can.
Chilling, like a cold
Winter breeze, as it rustles
Sound through pine trees
Circling in repeated motions
Swaying and reflecting
Different angles, and
Different emotions

Gradually moving from side to side
Not faltering, but continuing stride
Against the current
Against the waves
Against the runner

Pushing him back
Almost forcing him to fall
And beckon in the tracks of another
But wait...

How will he get back up?

That's the question we always
Ask ourselves, looking at
Others from a third person
View, but from the eyes
Of wind, nothing else exists

Think about that for a moment
Invisible, yet so strong
Something to put our lives
In full perspective
The thought of a force
That can break us down
In a moment's notice
And just like that
Suddenly, it's gone
Nowhere to be
Found...
This poem originally had a different ending, but then I wrote the ending shown above. It's one of my more personal favorite poems.

The back of his head makes me shake my own
As I see him walk past me in the halls all alone

I wish my hands could be messing around in his hair
But I cannot force back feelings that just are not there

Occasionally, I seek Sanctuary
In a place where the Life Force glows.
No rush, no clock faces; with time just a gentle flow in space,
Time to nurture, heal and grow,
In a place where the Life Force glows.

Occasionally, I seek Sanctuary
In a place where I lose my ego.
Listening to make my body loose,
Releasing feelings, space for growth,
Uncoiling my body and energising my core,
Brings awareness to tenseness that serves me no more.

In a community, I seek Sanctuary
Where gentle open people flow,
Authentic, selfless, caring folk with hearts as precious as gold.
Shaking off trauma and sharing universal truths,
Clearing our monkey brains ancestoral wounds.
Vibrationally protected.  And intensely connected.
In a place where the Life Force glows.

one less spoonful.
i repeat, and eat less.
one less kilogram.
i repeat, and eat less.

as i look at my own reflection in the mirror,
as if to mock me,
it's all the same;
i am still not enough.

one less craving.
i say, as my stomach grumbles.
one less meal.
i say, as the bile comes rushing in, forcing its way out.

one less spoonful.
i say, as i head to the comfort room after a meal.
one less kilogram.
i say, as i force my fingers into my mouth, expelling the contents of my own stomach.
i need help.
Rear women to
be warriors
And men to
be princes again.
Teach them to be kind
without requirement,
no other reason
than for kindness,
Solely to just be -
Little girls to
want superpowers,
Little boys
to be gentle,
And it to be
okay if they wish to,
To judge not how
any other person looks,
But to consider by
Another's deeds,
And both to
dream to be any
Or the other, with
no restricting, and
to be allowed to,
Unconditionally,
To love whoever,
whatever, whenever,
And for us to love
Them for their choices,
We stand by
Their side;
Let them all be
as well what they -
And not what
you, we, force them,
to be, what they
do want to be.
For themselves.

Love is not a pitiful thing
I say, it is a beautiful thing

Love is first an internal thing
Then, an external thing

Love is not a passive thing
I say, it is an active thing

Love is not a destructive thing
I say, it is a productive thing

And love is not just a thing
I say, it is a force!

The world belongs to no one
And theres is nothing we can do
To change that fact
The world will keep going
The earth will change
Grass will grow
Water will rise
And water will low
The world belongs to no one
None at all can say
That they have it in their palm
For the world has they
Nature does not care
Because nature will keep going
With
Or without us
Nature will keep going
Because the world belongs to no one
People dont seem to understand that life and nature will keep going, with or without human intervention
No matter what, it all keeps going

My perseverance to see the sun
To pluck its amber beams
A preternatural joy
A profound priviledge

Knowledge is a torrid reward
Easily you're burned
A talisman of great force
Shards of foresight

As you tread into her realm
Dead prejudices
An illuminated mind
A spirit that will last

The inner tranquility?
Its settlement lies high
An impenetrable quest
Life's gem
