Would the taste of joy be less sweet if we didn't experience pain?

Would success be less triumphant if we never knew failure?

Would the innocence of a child be less endearing if corruption wasn't pending?

Would the right to freedom be less powerful if we didn't experience tyranny?

Would this poem be less impactful if we could not find an answer?

An inflated balloon is vulnerable but that is the only way it can fly,
I shall no longer feel the fear of the sun, when I close my eyes as the power,
Of a mere wink is enough to eclipse its strong beam from afar,
We are all just trying to find some form of escape so we look for loopholes,
For our minds to run, or to just stroll for a bit,

Stay flowing like the blood in our veins,
Even the water from a cup remains shapeless in times of restraint,
A statue of a bird is made of stone which may make it stronger,
But we are made of something stronger, since the ability of flexibility,
Gives us the power to emit change, which is far bolder,

Wouldn’t it be grand to climb out of that well of fear?
And turn those wishes, into a reality of something celebratory to the ear?
The key to opening the shackles of our mind may depend,
On how far we are willing to go,
It is only when reaching out to somewhere in the unknown,
Do we find that true freedom, is being at peace to escape,

Even if the parts are separated and alone.
This is a poem I did awhile back which you can also find on the internet.

I clenched along the trigger
What am I aiming for
Life flashes in my eyes
What am I aiming for
Ponder wonder over your eyes
Is that what I am aiming for
To shoot your thoughts of me
What am I aiming for
When I ponder over your lips
To shoot off the taste of your lips
What am I aiming for
When I ponder over your hands
To entice your touch with bullet wounds
What am I aiming for
When I ponder over how my head laid on your chest
To shoot your lungs off so we don't breathe the same air
What am I aiming for
When I stared deeply into your heart
A heart that loved me so much
I put down the gun ....
I still want you to love me.

"You are twisted
and your tongue permanently tastes of cherries." -
you say,
but I just tie cherry knots
with my fruit-infused tongue,
and laugh at your complaints.
Red neon numbers remind me
of your lips on mine.
Gripping at the empty side of the bed,
wishing I were somehow still in your head.
You and I were similiar and collided
in coexisting lives.
I can see a jaw drop
the hand moving south
as if to slip into the knife drawer
of a total solar eclipse.
Six shots deep so I could forget your name,
and all of the reason I love you.
Instead I sat there
with him,
(not you)
crying over cherry stems.

Like fire to my soul
You ignite a spark that
was better left in solitary
Burn the script and show your skills
Jump higher and hurt more
See if she cares
she's standing there
Carve your initials in the devils core

Yearning for your touch, hoping that you approach me,
Praying for the second you look at me.
Call me crazy but if I was even an inch close to you,
I would show you how much I love you .
Love, lust, infatuation,
Call it what you want but I prefer the term “Deadly Attraction”,
My love for you will be the death of me,
I love you too much to have you away from me,
I want to hold you tight enough-
to feel your very last breath escape your lips.
I love you to the point where
I could **** you.
I want to wrap my hands around your neck,
and tighten my grip as I remind you of what you mean to me.
I would tie you up and stare at your flawless features,
I would lock you away from all humanity,
Drive you to insanity until you feel the same.
You will get used to my face and only my face.
I would slit the throat of anyone,
Who dares to set there eyes on you,
I would run a knife through their heart,
Just a warning to anyone,
If they think of stealing you away from me.
Don’t you see how much trouble I endure,
Just to keep you safe from those who intend to steal you?
Your love is my will-power,
Believe me when I say that,” Honey I will Love you Till Death Do Us Part”.

They will ask where that one person you were talking to went, have you seen them recently, what is up with you two, are you official yet — the whole nine. And because they’re so used to things being on-again-off-again, unsaid, and implied, chances are they’ll think this is just another ebb and flow in the roller coaster that is your romance. But you’ll have to relive the pain that things fell through every time, and though this never gets any less difficult to admit to them, you will become stronger and soon enough, they will forget that the almost-person ever existed. (And the best of friends will tell you that if they knew what was good for them, they shoulda locked it down. Best friends believe you deserve all-in commitment. Because you do.)

'I try hard to block myself from sadness but it breaks free and gets to me.
The Bad things are shot at me like bullets and
With Me being the target, the hits make me sink so deep.
Sometimes as to were i don't think i could live to see another day.
While the world keeps revolving, i wish to keep myself from evolving this way.
So No matter what or how hard you say it, we both know things are never going to be okay.'

i am addicted.

addicted to how your hair flows at the right angle, and how your eyes sparkle when you speak sinful things into my ear.

i am addicted.

addicted to how high i get off of your lips. and with each kiss i think im going to overdose.

i am addicted.

its not something i can fight nor i can control.

i am addicted to all the bad and the good you do to me.
