Im wandering around in my own mind,
Hoping redemption is what I'll find...

Wondering if someone will want me to stay,
Making sure i wont go astray...

So will you anchor me down this path?
Cuz Im a wanderer, im bound to lose my path...

So when i stray will you call me from ashore?
Will you be my lighthouse, so i can explore...?
Will you....?

it makes me feel
it makes me float
and discover new things
i see the world in a new light
maybe the right one
where everything is a theory
everything is not as it seems
everything is your mind
you see things
that you didn't see before
you think about life
like you have never thought about it before
you reflect
and imagine
and laugh
and each room is a different world
universe
galaxy
you're awake
forever
you drift to different lands
you're peaceful
you think you're enlightened
until its been 12 hours
and you come back down
you're placed back into your room
and its just four walls painted a sand colour
with your textbooks and laptop on your desk
and your laundry sitting on the floor
the floor that is still
and hard
and isn't going anywhere
you're back
in this "life"
thats so dead, you wonder why it would ever be called life
so you sit on your desk chair
open your laptop
do your assignments
and continue on with this pre assigned path
with pre assigned ideals
you can't veer off
unless you decide
to take a trip
Why am I called a funny girl?
When my humour is as dry
As the pages of a book
Or Gaston's flirtatious lies
Is it because people laugh
Before words even escape my mouth
That reading is ridiculous
How could such a woman be allowed?
To the characters in the stories
They do not laugh or judge me
They share my thirst for adventure
How I wish my life would be more lively
Every morning is a routine
That requires no risk to take
If I settle and rot in this tiny town
It would be my biggest mistake
My books are like tiny windows
In lives I wish to live
I just wanted something new for a change
Something more than this town can give
I like to explore books untouched
Every page is like taking another step
Every chapter is like completing a mile stone
Building a world I don't know yet
The author is my tour guide
Their words build my map
I create distinct images
New locations and people overlap
I meet new characters
I become someone different
Immersing myself in paper adventures
Makes reading much more intimate
You are too stingy with yourself my dear,
let me have a slice,at least two slices of you.
Let me savour you, allow me to salivate into your wholeness. Let me drool and lust into your experiences.
Your joys let me have a sip, your sorrows let me have a bit.
Your care freeness, entrust it into my strong hands.
Let me know what clogs you, chokes you and simmers you. Let me ride in your strength, and measure the depth of your sorrow.
Let me light the darkened soul candle and quiten your heart thunders,
Just let me in,
into your soul,
So that I can see the world through your eyes,
Taste the waters with your tongue, and know how roses smell to you.
Let me know how pain feels to your, and probably I will know why I misunderstand you
It takes one to open self so that the misunderstanding can become an understanding

Tell me your truth
one that few others know.
Allow me to explore the dark parts of your heart
and ignite the fires of your soul.
Align your demons with mine
in time you’ll find they need love, too.
They need love.
Just like me. Just like you.

His life spent jumping fences and somehow forgetting the sign that said no trespassing. If he had listened to that he would have never made it out of his backyard
I never liked seeing a fence when I was little, very good at climbing now that I'm older.

Oh, you were a book that I never have read
and ask anyone I have read them all.
I studied your cover and fell in love with your spine.
Oh, let me read you
let me explore your mind.

You were an album
and I loved all your songs.
I could sing them none stop all day long
and they would never get old,
not a single one.

You were my favorite flower
and I was a selfish kid
that wanted to pick you,
and keep you all to myself instead.

But you were a song
I had stuck in my head
I sang along until night when I crashed in bed.
We fit together just listen to our harmony.
Come on over
and keep me company.
You can bring your guitar and I'll bring mine
we'll be an unstoppable duet
just you & I
