I think put simply, enlightenment is to know that you have nothing and everything to offer this world. I haven’t figured out how you put into practice, although, I ought to be enlightened before I will.

I want to travel great distances, far beyond reach.
Won't you come with me?
I want to escape this plane and walk dimensions unseen.
Won't you go with me?
I won't drink a drop, nor fill up my lungs, or inhale the dust, you see.

No for me, it is tranquil and freeing
To stay awake while sleeping,
Clear of mind and ego, pure of soul,
Surrendering with no control.

Walk with me. Sink with me. Be with me.
See the truth of your findings in all its complexity.
Realize that all is not so vexing,
Much too is rooted in simplicity, frequency.

To be is to feel, and to see is to heal.
Know you and love you so you can know and love all others properly.
Understanding love is knowing humans can't be property.
Recognize that we are each individual entities.

We cast our signatures on the world
As we journey on through life.
Seeking to make ourselves a bit more pure,
We adopt a heart that's more gentle and kind.

Growth is self reflection, and being aware of Who You Are.
And if it scares us, well it isn't too bizarre.

Change never comes easy.
We must want it. In all things.
Facing hard truth is none too pleasing,
But in the end what a comfort it brings
To find your resolve and to be humbled by the universe,
And gain knowledge in perspectives that are diverse.

Lie in the stillness that is. Be moved by the warmth and bliss.
My mind releases the chaos surrounding me.
And I go further into the abyss
I hear no music, but the sound is sweet.

Such happiness that swells in me,
Tell me, wont you go with me?

he left himself loose,
in beauty's collected works;
returned enlightened
The supposition of a higher power is fruitless
It plays with the curiosities and leads the faithless blind
The “cognizant” host of this paradigm shall always find more questions, the hunger never tempered
Is it not in our nature to seek and desire?
Or are we guided by the hand to a place where we actually remember who we are instead of trying to discover who we are
A challenging thought I suppose, but that’s exactly my point
If we suppose we are to assume and if we are to assume then we get lost in a whirlwind of just trying to be right
What if we just stopped saying what if?
I’m not asking for omniscience because that would take the fun away
However, I envision a world someday living fully in experience and divine synchronicity
Where the eb and flow of every vibration is just a ride for us all
And enlightenment will follow
I cannot suppose that the great mystery is random, nor can I suppose there is a higher power
I must Feel it
Breathe it
Become it
Every dimension, every space and intention must be divine
Until I’m living the way at least a little
Until I’m perceiving as one would for even a moment
I will remain fruitless
When we practice the art of the divine, supposition disappears, faith is resolute, wisdom thrives, and the world gets a bit brighter

Shooting stars pierce our reality breaking it with fantasy,
Hearts fill with wonder, and spinning colors of reverie,
Minds enlighten as lies and illusions fade away
Light fractures and reveals its colors for a brighter day,
Rainbows of love fall down ushering in peace after the storm
And with serenity and beauty new love is born.

Laughter and joy weaves through your soul
As sorrow unravels and pain unfolds
And you begin to love yourself and become whole.
Let no one take away your choice or steal your love
It's much your right as the light above.
You don't have to pay a price to leap into the sky
Just shake your negativity off and spread your arms to fly.
Let the hate pass you by
All you have to do is try.

I need something to hold on to.

I need you.

When I let you go I died.

I lost myself in you and now I am stuck here alone and together at the same time. As one for eternity and out.

Stuck as nothing.

Stuck as no-thing...

Hello everyone,

I'm so very sorry … I feel horrible doing this, but I have no choice. You see, I have published my first book on Amazon/Kindle! This piece (and many others) had to be taken down because they do not allow published material to be available online for free. (Go figure) I wanted to leave the shell of the posts because I felt compelled to leave all your helpful and loving comments. (Silly sentimental, I know), but I also didn't want to just have the pieces disappear without an explanation. I feel bad enough as it is!

I owe ALL of you so, SO much for all of your reads, love, and support. It was YOU that gave me the gumption to FINALLY get off my **** and publish! Thank you all for the warm comments, camaraderie, and encouragement! I will still be here, reading, uploading and just being the Rascal that I am. How could I EVER leave you guys?

The book is called “The Way I See It – FictionPhilosophySoul Food” and it will be FREE for the first few days on Kindle Select, so watch for it, if you are interested. I hope that you go and grab it. If you do, I would also hope that you find it worthy, you would leave me a good review. That will help me get in the public eye! Soon afterward (2-3 days or so), it will be available in paperback.

Find the book(s) here: www.amazon.com/author/jeff.gaines

Or find the book(s), and all about me, here: www.JeffGaines.world

Soon after, I also hope to have my first novel (a supernatural thriller), called “Wanderer” available as well!

  Wish me luck!
Big, Biggest Love,
        Jeff Gaines
This is me expounding on "Starlight" years after I had written it and had come to understand and further comprehend just what I'd been shown in that most mystical dream.

Own What You Own

Learn to recognize your own history.
Like the grass before a scythe
****** is after all
A sort of suicide.
The sacrifice of someone else's self.

Like the granting of a favour
For the sake of your own insecurity.
Or out of  jealousy for what we covet
From those in whom we can no longer recognize,
The better part of our selves.
