To count all the stars within our skies
Would be to name every sand grain alive
To pick apart the world, stare into your eyes
Manage not falling over in awe; survive
One compared to a runway of jewels
How contend, when diamonds fall at your feet
Standing, admiring, with all your fools
Reaching to grab hold of your beauty's fleet
Numbering the days to when you are mine
In gain of knowledge to where you reside
Wishing on our stars who understand time
Attempts to be everything for you, cried
Moon and darkness know my worth; relentless
My heart is yours to hold; defenseless

Milky way around me
stars, sun, planets, the moon
interstellar, interplanetary
orbits, i commune

The heavens surround me
galaxies, constellations, nebulae
across my cosmic journey
for revolutions i'll stay

The cosmos envelope me
dark stars, black holes, supernova
flames in my tail I see
celestial brightness of my strata

Heavenly bodies you and me
falling star, giant star, dwarf star
my love is quasar-like energy
a bolide of us is not far

Astronomical intensity
alpha centauri,sirius, achernar
encompasses their enormity
unlike pulsars, we are shooting stars

It rains diamonds on Saturn...
And there's no need of it there.

Here, we run in short of diamonds
And the desire for it never stops.
...
....

Maybe rarity adds a value.

Even to a piece of glittering rock!

Perhaps that's why we crave love so much...
It's rarity makes it so precious...

Devotion was  a moment
When I loved you for existing,
For breath and sleep and talk.

It exists, still.
Somewhere deep away from you,
Or it will revive and burn
Just watching you sit.

I wish you would get me a diamond ring already,
I know I am still young,
But we’ve been together for so many years
It’s been five already – that’s almost scary –
Well it would be scary if I could feel
You make sure I don’t though
You scream a darkened silence at me
And smother me with nothing.

I’m not saying a pretty diamond
Would salvage you, or make up for all
But I’m not a fool –
You and I
Are carved forever.

Not that I believe in forevers –
You made sure of that one
Right after you took all the FEELING.
I’m drowning in the nothing where you suppress me
I feel like Victorian bridal doll –
Entrapped, encased, suffocating
Watching in silence, in a dress that’s not mine
No one can hear me shouting

I can’t even see me anymore
The walls cave in
As I collapse on the floor.
Being awake shouldn’t take any effort
Or leave me with laboured breathing.

Can you just get me that diamond already?
At least then I’ll know we’re in something steady.
Not that I’d ever want to commit to you
But good days don’t come anymore
And I’d like to drown in screaming.

Man's profit: Gold.
God's profit: The world.
Man's Prophet: Sage.
God's Prophet: Man.

In which world do you stand?

-Stand grounded like the mountains-
-Stretch in the morning like trees-
-Hold the sky with your eternal head-

If the sky were to rain gold, it wouldn't be enough to satisfy even one man~

~The Gods cry diamond rain.

That diamond smile
Your diamond teeth
Your diamond tongue
Your diamond fingertips
Your diamond wrists
Your diamond eyes
and your diamond thighs

How you sparkle so
much you brighten
my days

you glow inside
while I shatter black fluid out of my eyes

shards of liquid piercing
through my palms

I can't remember the good feeling I had
Ellie's sailing down the river
Tessa's sitting by the lake
Four of us going separate ways on a hot summer day

Phil's driving up the mountains
Looking for a classic thrill coupled with a few spills
Four of us on our own adventures on a hot summer day
This is a short poem I wrote two weeks ago from just a random hand of playing cards.

I remember calling him a diamond when he was upset about the girl who gave up on him too soon
And him smiling as he asked how
I said
"You have to dig to find diamonds, and people get lazy. They give up. I think people do that with you, but they're always gone before they can really see you shine."
Little did he know
He was my diamond
And I wouldn't stop digging until he was mine
Get it because people mine for gold and stuff ha. Oh I rhymed too
