I want to be the one you find shelter in; I long for your embrace.
I wish to wipe the tears from your beautiful eyes; you alone make me feel this way.
I hope that I am good enough for you; doubt creeps in each time you are away.
I miss your caress and your care; take me away from this place.

we move
in rhythm and time
keeping pace
and
locking eyes
tangled as one
you're
screaming the name
that they call mine

those empty spaces between my fingers
never felt so empty
as they did the moment
your fingers left them

to have held your hand was heaven
to have held mine was so pleasant

I’ve never wanted to get a grip
until now that I’ve tasted
the grip of your hand
and I gripped it back

the urge to play with your fingers
rub your palm with my thumb
and caress the top part of your hand
I’ve lived so long without having it done

Wish that I were the moon,
to softly kiss your sleep.
To lie, in love, beside you,
caress your slumber deep.

Wish that I were the stars,
to light your darkest night,
to hold your heart inside me,
A beacon shinning bright.

Wish that I were the sun,
to wash your every day,
to colour all your sunsets,
warmth that never goes away.

Wish that I were the wind,
to whisper breaths of love.
To send a sign off ecstasy,
enraptured from above.

Wish that I were time,
to give back what had passed,
to ask for all or nothing,
just to be with you at last.

eyes closed
arms spread out wide
I stood in the open field,
twirling.

as the wind wrapped itself around me
I began to sway my womanly hips
feeling it
embracing it
becoming it

wind, what a nice touch it has
a cool caress

we swayed together
left, right, left, right
my body and the wind

twirling,
in the open field
arms spread out wide
eyes closed
