I've been sitting.
Oh, have I been sitting.
Lengthened legs be withering away...
Sullenly a sway in the wind.
I barely have a say where I go.
I move like the snow on a mountain.
Sitting collecting momentum until I fall all at once, once more...
I've been sitting.
Once I had a vision to be ridden of this mission.
No revision.
No new words.
A promise no one ever heard.
I've been sitting.
simple poem about breathing and sitting.

My thoughts tremble
in the empty space my sanity used to occupy,

My hands search for the warmth you gave that they lost,

My lungs beat up my heart everytime they gasp for air,

My cheeks start dribbling down my face along with my tears,

My mind tries to convince me to love myself when I’ve become the vacuum of breathing, kept cold by the sanity that left along my thoughts.
This. Morning. Brings me. Hope.
Hope. Comforts. My lost. Soul.
Soul. Welcomes. Angel’s. Breath.
Breath. Living. Gift from. Heaven.
Heaven. Smiling. Above. Me.
Me. Thankful. I have. Life.

Do you ever
get the feeling
that this life
isn't yours?

That you have no control?

That everyone
around you is
living and
you're just
breathing.
Watching.
Waiting.

For what?

Only imagine the pain, as it was all left to feel.
Gasping to the top of your lungs, just to be heard once.
Grasping, like it was the más time to be held.
Breathing, as if it was your last breath.

But above all, loving with every piece I you, because you want to be loved, like you have never been before.

I miss you like you’re living
With you I felt like I could breath
Biting, stinging
Breathing
With you I could breathe
But they told me I have to hold my breath
Or else I’ll drown
So I don’t breathe anymore
And no one breathes
And we all hold our breath in silence
But god,
I wish I could breathe
And god,
You made me feel like I could breathe
To breath and not be tired by breathing.
   (an acrostic )
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To breath and not be tired by breathing .
Or to catch one’s breath when about to choke
By slow suffocating and no I’m not joking
Really it’s like a plastic bag over your head
Escaping death is the only natural remedy
A tube connected to home compressed air
That is the fate of sufferers around t’ world
Having chronic asthma it ain’t no joke.
And I have witnessed first hand the fear.
Not being able to breath when you awake.
Do you have that trouble now I hope not ?
No I wouldn’t wish it on any one this day n age
Oh to breath and not be tired by breathing
Tired by just keeping that old body alive
Be thankful if you can boast such good health
Each day count those blessings God has sent
To breath and not be tired by breathing.
I warn you that you may be old someday
Relax and remember this poetic warning
Endeavour to give up cigarettes today.
Death warnings carried on every packet.
By songs and warnings all around about
You listen but one more *** won’t matter
But there you cannot put the **** thing out
Relegation to the designated smoking area
Even though it has become a social place.
A conversation with a fellow smoker is sublime
Though to breath n not be tired by breathing
Having left if much to late to then escape
I see the grim reaper as he comes to get you
Nothing I could ever do again but pray.
God has now granted you relief from pain.
Breathing was difficulties that my wife Barbara suffered. She smoked for much of her life and had to survive her final years on home compressed oxygen
