There's a time to laugh,
and theres a time to cry,
but if we only ever cry,
then we'll soon surely die.

If we only ever laugh
we'll surely be seen as,
a mere sociopath,
who is too unattached,
to ever be sad.
"You can't get yourself out of everything without loosing a little bit of everything."

And when I thought hard about it
I knew it to be true
That Something old
Could make me something new

Tetragrams and anagrams
Pseudonyms and sleight-of-hands
Betwixt the lines lie crooked spines
Textured, gestured, shamed and shrined
Functions, Factions, fabled fiction
Starred and Crossed, they're scored and stitched in
Faeries, furies, funded theories
Quantum physics, quarks and queries
Embers bright, a red clad knight
Winged cats with cubic heights
Flux your lux, set down your labels
Time entwines both swine and angels
Mumbled murmurs, lazy learners
Beacons, bosons, carbon burners
Codecs keyed for hertz and bytes
Ancient tones 'n pheremonones
Reflect,
     Refract,
         Retract...
             Ignite.
Our shadow selves toll ghostly bells
Building walls, erecting shelves
Saviours, slaves, enchanted knaves,
'Tis man, himself, 'creates these Hells...

Throat
Eyes
I have to trust myself.
Myself myself only
I have turned off the heat
I will think of my life only
The heat has evaporated
I stand at the foot of the ship
In the darkness
And leave the harbor
Tomorrow will be a bright day
And I will think of my life only
I have revised my magical wishes
For my life only.
I will now keep the balance
For my life only
I feel so much better
Holy.

We all think we are special
And rightfully so
Because we are
but we all forget we are human
Those who only see we are human
Forget they are special
And rightfully so
Because we are

Somehow on the scale

We got to find the balance

There is a certain thrill when you are
teetering on the very brink.
An intense, almost perverse
curiosity to
see whether you will
continue to
stand tall or
will you
fall.

Insatiable bile rises at the precipice of ecstasy, undeniably
life lived is a rolling wave of emotion as I rise and I

fall with the sequences of the sun at my back and
these oceans under my feet. One day may I strike a

balance? To arise and not to plunge from these summits,
simply then to collide with the challenger deep. For now

torn moments do sustain me and drain me; I cannot
win against water whilst water cannot last against light.

Sun kissed petals
And rotten leaves

Whisks of happiness
If it wasn't for the bees

Red, pink, and blue
Thanks to photosynthesis, it's now a dull green

Meadows for the roots
Dry soil, is all to be seen

Sprouts grow amongst the trees
Only to have animals stomp on them, please, oh please

Flowers are full of delicacy
In which the petals fly with the breeze

With all living things come...
Reality
I wanted to try to compare the good and bad in the world by using a flower. I don't really know if its good or not, but I took a chance.
