Her lips landed on dusted truffle,
A bite she gave to enjoy its savor,
Its luscious made her crumble and ruffle,
A nip of love that made her waver.
Soon she taste a hint of venom,
To wreck, to wrench, and finally grieve,
Afar she was away from heaven,
Scarred and shattered, she had to leave.
Yet within lies a never-known secret,
One that she may never ever experience,
An antidote as rare and sacred,
To which had aid in her ignorance.
Love:
A chocolate truffle with sweetness outside,
yet venom within that kills its vessel,
but unknown to most was the hidden serum.

Miles
on
miles
separate
me            from       you,
and yet
you remain with me.
I hear your laugh
and feel your skin.
I ache for your mind,
for the way you
unravel me.
I burn with hatred
I cannot find for you.
I shake off love
I cannot dispel for you.
I left,
and you managed to
follow me,
leaving me wondering
if I'll ever be without you,
if there's some way to flush you,
rid your toxicity from my system.

I have been infected
with your infectious soul,
and distance isn't the cure
I thought it would be.
And now,
years later,
it is much too late to
vaccinate.

If only I had known.

Slam your head on a piece of white paper
Until blank ink spills out of your forehead.
Until the ink forms words, phrases, sentences, prose,
Something that will perfectly justify how it feels like to have swallowed
a rock, a planet, a universe.

Find a friend who tells the truth.
Tell her everything and listen to her as she rips out your soul and crush your heart into grains
While she speak of things you already know but you were too stupid not to believe.
Truth heals another truth,
Let it devour you.

Get a rich old man to like you and spend most of your time thinking of the smartest way to stay away from him.
Channel all your energy to your new found fear and disgust.
New problems patch another problem.
Distraction is the key to stop the living from haunting you.

Force yourself to get out of your bed
the moment you first lift your eyelids to check the time on your phone.
Do not nail yourself in there.
Your bed is one of the most dangerous places at this stage,
It is a VCR for mental flashbacks.
Get yourself out of the dark.

I never anticipated love to be the antidote,
but here you stand, healing what I thought would forever be broken

From the outside looking in I see your reflection, the man your trying to be. The man who loves with no convictions, only true intentions. Holding onto her soul, reading her thoughts like an open book, speaking her words before there said. Feeling her desires and forfilling her aspirations one by one. Making her whole, completing her dreams by her side. Taking her hand, strong and wise as her guide into the unknown. Shielding her from evil as her own super hero, your kryptonite her pain. Sailing the high airs with her underneath your cape. Sweeping her off her feet, a true gentlemens treat. The only fire to her flame, she burns for you and only you. Her loyalty, she gives of your deserving embrace, the antidote.

Let it be noted,
That the things you use to clean your messes,
Cannot be used to clean the mess in your mind.

Let it be remembered,
That poisons have never worked against poisons,
But then again, neither have the antidotes.

Let it be known,
That being numb for a while,
Doesn't make you invincible.

Let it be written in final print,
That you needn't read between the lines,
If it is repeated several times.

Let my
naked skin
be the drug
you've never
had; My love
the antidote
to all the
wicked things
you've had
to face.
I want to
chase away
your demons
from this night,
and leave
you not able
to speak
anything
but my name.

Let your lips
graze my skin,
leaving no
exposed patch
untouched.
Pepper my
broken pieces
with your perfect
bandaids and
mend the scars
I swear would
never leave.
I am utterly
convinced
you are the
antidote I
thought
I'd never
find.
