The furrier tells the bell by the time of skinning,
Archangels by their clipped wings as they fell,
Statesmen by show of divided hands at plenary ringing,
The wind by quell of truant petals from daffodil.
And even love tells its beginnings and endings,
By lips shorn of lambswool words and yield of bale.
In light or darkness, though our animal souls uprisen,
Still in their wordless and naked measuring dwell.

I'm sitting in my room
You're eerily creeping up.
You are always near me
I can't escape my shadow.
You can follow me around.
You won't catch me
You can't catch me.
I can't escape my shadow.
You see me in my darkest moment.
You are me when I lie.
You watch me harm my body.
You can't stop me. I never listen.
You watch as I pass out.
Crying like a child.
I wake up and see you there.
Everyone has a friend.
Not everyone can see them.
People think they are imaginary.
I looked up at you
And you pulled me up and out of the grave
Which I dug.
You held me tightly
I'm your only friend.
I realized I could smile.
I noticed you were real.
No one really saw the year tracks
Or the smears of blood on clothing.
Or the stinging in my wrists.
But I could finally breath.
And I saw the colors
Of the world around us.

i've dreamt of you.

i prophecized a boy
with charcoal eyes
would allow me to taste
his poison lips.

what secrets are hidden
in your dark gaze?

whisper sweet nothings
and
c u r s e s
to me as if
lullabies
were made to cut.

love me.

**** me.

The two hearts broke
before they could unite.

The two hands let go
before their bond could grow.

Their destinies cursed each other
before fate could knit their lives together.

Little did they know,
angles encircled them.

Grant it
You stepped in
through a crack
like an assassin.

And yes
your prying eye
did establish how far
you could reach
inside.

Little did you know
Though
that the lady you made out of me
can see in the dark.

"Gullible"
"Bully"
"Risky"
"Courageous"

Red flags you waved before me
for your colourful entertainment
Pillars for my temple
And swords for my angels.
