In the grass,
At my knees
Between my legs
In spite of protest
At his desk,
Beside my waist,
In their closet
Against the wall,
By the pool,
In his __
At the game,
Beside his in-laws
Beneath the table
Next to his wife,
Near his son,
On his knees,
On my car,
With absolute disregard,
With complete abandon,
With brazen enthusiasm,
With unabashed passion,
Without limitation,
Without reservation,
Without a yes
He begged me.

If only she knew
That I sit alone at night
Drinking by myself
Thinking about her
Wishing she was mine

If only she knew
That I'll never be alright
Going through this hell
Till my eyes begin to blur
And I only see her in my mind

If only she knew

That the hardest part of my day
Is when I think about her lips
Sliding through his skin
As he moves in for the kiss
Think about his hand
starting to caress her cheeks
They both gasp for air
though no one speaks
And her eyes can't seem to look away from his

If only she knew

That that's the hardest part
Knowing that she's his
Knowing that her gorgeous lips
are only his to kiss
And that her beautiful eyes
Are looking right through me
Knowing that I'm nothing to her
And that I'll never be

If only she knew

That she leaves me Paralyzed
When she looks me with her eyes
It feels so cold
Yet I feel so alive
If only she would realize
That without her my heart cries
It's hard to beat, though it still tries
If only she knew
The pain of getting lost within her eyes
Another Poem from my collection.

By the light of a fire burning bright

The Lady sought love in the night

Desire ignited within her dark eyes

She went to him with innocent guise

In his chamber her Lord did wait

With his black heart full of hate

After Hearts and bodies did entwine

He gave her a goblet of ruby wine

The venom brought her to the floor

He told his wife he loved her no more

It was another who set him aflame

He was callous and without shame

As the poisoned wine her life did take

A final promise she did make

Beyond the grave, his cruel crime

He would rue until the end of time
When I write short stories they often begin life as a flow of words as the seeds of an idea engenders...Wine of Desire touches on themes I like to explore-love, loss, betrayal. This little piece became "Candlenight" the tale of Lords and Ladies long ago and the ghost of Lady Leonora who walked within her castle walls seeking to avenge her ******, having met her demise at the hands of her adulterous husband and his mistress Sibylla, versed in the dark arts with a strong desire to be rid of her rival.

Watching you sitting opposite of me, I'm mesmerized by your movements.
I'm lost in your voice, I'm listening yet I'm not.
The trance is broken when you look into my eyes.

Instantly I'm taken on a nostalgic journey to that night when our stars entwined to bring us together:

It was a summer,
We sat on the cool sand and basked on the silver light of the moon.
We watched the waves crash on each other as if in a lovers' quarrel.
The smell of the day's hot air filled the air around us.

We listened
And tried to figure out the secrets shared between the twinkling stars.
On an attempt to touch the sand,
Our fingers touched instead
And the life-long connection was created.

The sound of your voice brings me back to reality.
You opposite of me,  it's all clear; this is forever

Tell me some good lies;
that will tickle the back of my neck, run through my spine, and give thrill all over me.

'Cause I know, you are the gemstone and I am the pebble.

But remember my love, I'm here and there, and I will not extinct.
but you will, eventually.
As I lay under the tree
Thoughts so deep and free
I wonder and wonder
Then ponder where you'll be

These thoughts
They force me to roll
All through the night
I know what you stole
And I want to know
Does he know

That you slipped in the sheets
With me to try and feel free
It's quite the feat
For you to never tell him
To “love” him

For I've gathered my fruit
As I lay under the tree
With my thoughts deep
As I ponder and wonder
If the truth sets you free
Does that make me the truth
Sorry for the spam this one just kind of hit me out of no where and got me in my feels. I'm just starting so if anyone can give me feedback that would be great. I wrote this from view as being used by someone in a relationship. To hurt the other and leaving me behind.
She was
nestled low
that seldom
a thief
where her
package large
for Grant
Street's nighty
night kept
her glow
like an
ember there
before a
chair that
lifted sheer
her love
and drew
a bone
A love affair gone away
