The first time we said "i love you"
was when we were fifteen
there have been many times that
we had to begin again
but I've known all along that you belong with me

After our sad beautiful tragic love affair
let's jump then fall into wonderland
because you're the only one I want to get lost with
I knew you were trouble but now it's
a state of grace

I saw sparks fly  when I met you
and I was so enchanted
i couldn't wait for you to be mine
and I know all too well
the story of how everything has changed
and now I have found a place in this world
where I can be fearless

This love might be treacherous
but it will never go out of style
I waited so long saying "I wish you would"
and now my wildest dreams have come true

I know places where there is a lot of starlight
that we can call our holy ground
here we can stay stay stay
and never have a last kiss
you don't have to leave me haunted
and waiting for you and your white horse
I still think you're innocent
and I hope you speak now when necessary

Long live all these red emotions
and listening to our song together
which is of course how you get the girl

I will be yours until we're 22 and beyond
I'm so happy that we're out of the woods
and that *this is really happening

Dear you:

Laugh and cry, remember to live,
With every day that comes, love and give,
There’s only one “you,” hope your dreams come true,
Make those worries disappear, and know that God loves you,
Your gonna fly, and your gonna fall,
But that’s okay, because best of all,
Your a person with gifts, a person with style,
And we all make mistakes, and it can take a while,
To realize the person within every person,
That no matter how small, we’re all loved,
                      By our Father above.

it's the inevitable conversation
what do we do?
and once again there's no answer...

months and months of the same conclusions
months and months of the same words
for absolutely nothing

you're like the fountain of youth
all time is gone when I'm with you
I'm constantly quenched

we both know this is wrong
but we both don't really care
we just want what we want and it's never enough
I sleep in the clouds, dream in the sky,
I'll keep dreaming as life passes me by,
I think my dreams keep me sane,
I dream of happiness, a life without pain,
some people say I'm stuck in this place,
and I'll never go anywhere,
but in my dreams I've already been there,
I know some day I'll have to wake up,
but I feel the real world is more like a nightmare,
I'm safe in my closed eye wonderland,
this poem goes to all the dreamers that understand,
no matter what they say,
keep your dreams but don't dream your life away.

Poets singing the same chorus pain torture, feeling hollow. vessels turned into shadows pen masters forever followed by sorrow.

Let us lighten your shoulders plant seeds of bliss in fields of decaying peace. Aid you in finding feelings you seek for and realise your dreams.

Diminish your fears till your phobias flee in tears.
Pull your words from the depth of blindness and silence to top and enlighten the sightless.

Let us make love be the signature of life in poems.
Brushes will smile when painting with glowing hearts.
Inspired by Poets and their tragic, sad, heartbreaking writes.

I want someone
Who can read my eyes
And communicate with them
So that we can share jokes
From across the room
Or alert each other
During emergencies.

I want someone
Who can differentiate my smiles.
Real ones, fake ones
So that even when everyone else
Is fooled,
You won't be.

I need someone
Who can understand
That I'm a complicated,
Contradictory person.
That I may blow hot and cold
But in the end
I'll still love you.

The Doorway (Revelation 3:20)
Written by Adam M. Snow

Here I stand,
your doorway's closed;
I cannot move beyond the door.
I'm waiting here
for your reply,
knocking on your door, is I.

Can you hear me -
knock, knock knocking,
waiting here by your door?
Will you open, let me in?
Am I not your friend?
Here I stand,
your door is closed;
I cannot enter.
Will you answer the door for me?

Can you hear me -
knock, knock knocking?
Will you kindly let me in?
Here I stand,
waiting here.
Knocking on your door,
I stand here.
Your door is closed.
Will you open, answer me?

Here I stand -
knock, knock knocking.
Can you hear me -
knock, knocking at your door?
I stand here
at your doorway;
Will you answer
- open door for me?

I am your friend.
I am waiting,
waiting at your doorway.
I am here, knocking,
knocking at your door.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:20 NKJV

remember when
you would write
all your poems
about me

how you
carelessly
would leave
your breathless
i love yous
in between
each line
like a secret
between the
two of us

hidden behind
your words
were our
held hands
and our
stollen kisses

and your
written art
was our love
translated
into the
language of
the stars

you created
a tiny universe
with every
line and curve
of every letter
and it was
paradise

yet those
days are
far gone

and our
universe,
our heaven
was swallowed
whole by the
boundless waves
of oblivion

you erased
the romance
and replaced
them with
stains of
infinite farewells

now you
hold a pen
like its a
loaded gun
prepared to
shoot

and you
stare at
the paper
like a
selfish god
depriving
a blank galaxy
the beauty
of constellations

and i just miss
your poetry

i feel
like i have
been evicted
from my own
home because
i lived
in your words

i found shelter
in the pages
you have filled
with your messy
penmanship

so with
shaky hands
and a heavy heart,
i try to recreate
the phrases
you have
written with
your heartbeat

but nothing
compares
to the image
of our love
immortalized
in your poems
