I took sanity out for a walk today
And it seemed to slip my mind
We haven't been getting along as of late
And I hate it when it hides

If it were up to me
I'd keep it locked up all the time
With my sanity out running free
There's no telling the trouble that it'll find

This isn't the first time this has happened
Not the first time it's escaped
Followed by wild eyed giggling and non stop laughing
As it skipped along its merry way

So if you happened to see my sanity
Would you kindly send it home
Me and its next of kin "In"
Are starting to feel a little paranoid
Stick your head above the trench
smell the stench
clench your cheeks,
I've got 20/20
plenty of time to dodge
the bullets that seek to
destroy me but
having read the rules of warfare where there's
nothing fair, I no longer care
there's a Claymore with my name on it and
one day I'll be hit and blown apart, pulled off the
battlefield,as dead as God, in the ambulance cart.
Until that time I shall spend some time in the mud and grime talking to
Harry who's last name is not Lime although he's heard of him,
sometimes in the trench the humour's grim but we grin and bear because we no longer care.

outward expression of
feelings
I can no longer contain,
but you mean more
to me
than language could
ever explain."

The land rots

laid to waste the precious land

green gardens turning to desert sand

a bag of plastic choke the roots

a bottle and can rush the shoots

factory chemical kills the seed

this by the hand of human deed

trees to fell for human need

the land ***** by human greed

engineered by science the crops do stand

******* the blood of god given land

what we waste not gone in air

a plastic bag to nature unfair

oh will our children not see the grass green

or they not find fishes in the stream

maybe they breathe air with a price tab
or they eat food made in a lab

time for every one to act

a plastic bag never rots a fact

efforts of few just tears on sand

let us try to save the rotting land
Does it matter more to you that you care for others or that others care for you?
Would you take a series of bullets
Would you leap before a dashing car
Would you dance on sweltering embers for the sake of one who does you nought in return?
Wouldn’t most or wouldn’t anyone endure the worst for acknowledgement and commendation…

I try to be gallant—self-sacrificial,
Try to be benevolent, bleeding heart beyond comprehension
Yet am I worse than the slaughterers?
The iniquitous, the rest?
No more than the vile, reprobate, devilish…
For who, after all,
Cast oneself beyond forgiveness
The felon who would exploit acts of selflessness
To assemble his own
Maleficent, pernicious lair
Of praise, acclaim, and comfort.
It was like the cold, your smile
Ready at a glance
To use as a suit of shining armour
Or mace and chain
At the lightest touch
To force on yourself
To stop you from falling
Completely apart
And back to who you really were
Just Imagine the shame
Well
For me it was just a symbol
Or maybe a metaphor
Who knows?
But certainly never more than that
Never ever more than that

I'm walking in a field with green grass and pretty white flowers. The air is fresh and a cold breeze comes carrying the sound of birds singing. The sun is shining in the middle of the cloudless sky, so I squint my eyes. Wandering around in my own thoughts I find myself lost. I walk trough a shrubbery, with thorns and branches sticking out everywhere. As I walk my way trough I tumble down on my knees. I stand up with bruised knees and hands, realizing that I'm on the other side of the shrubbery, where the grass is gone. Only soil and molehills. The sun is hidden behind gray clouds and black shadows are circling around. A shadow comes dashing towards me. It lands right in front of my feet. It looks up at me with it's glistening red eyes. There's something so familiar, so tempting about it as it says the words:
*welcome back home.

What's one more pill to a man who's taken thousands?
It depends;
if you're running out and you drop one under the fridge, it's enough to move the fridge.
If you've taken eight but can't seem to fall asleep one might just do the trick.
If you're trying to sober up one might mean starting the cycle again.
It's been 11 days, I'm doing fine
