I've grown to love life
A bit more, each day
When the night comes
My hold on life shall slip away

In a happy place
Believing in each other
Two hearts, together

There is a world that awaits
The wonders of new world

The world where the burdens of today
Are vanquished

Valiant warriors of peace
March forward and lead us into a world
So true
Anew

The world that awaits
A new world
Free
From the worldly prudence

Odd Odyssey Poet
Likely in the world,
we all love to step over each other.
But if we're all each other's step,
where's this staircase leading up to?

I am sure
That in this lifetime
Our bodies will unite
And we will bring this world to ash
It will be beautiful and destructive
As if the stars have fallen to the earth
And until then
I won't stop burning for you

late night drives,
cold, warm,
wet, dry,
safe, happy,
alone together,

late night drives,
music loud,
laughing, love,
rain falls,
feelings felt,

late night drives,
gotten later,
colder, darker,
so much darker,
now, everything's gone.

He'll pour the sweetest honey words
And you'll willingly take every sticky drop
Not knowing that he'll take you when the amber hardens
And add you to his collection
i dont know why i still reread every one of your poems

Faces are our covers
They show the world what we want it to see and to believe

A replacement cover can make a tired old book look new

But hands tell a different story

On the ends of your arms are two gossiping wagging tongues

They always tell the truth!

the very first time i looked up to the sky,
it was dark, and it was scary— still, i tried.
the world was so cruel, and my mind was in chaos
but someone told me, “it’ll be the most brilliant darkness in our eyes”

darkness has never felt this comforting before
so warm, it feels like home. so accepting it feels like a hug.
since then, i never took my eyes off darkness
because i know, it’ll be the most brilliant in our eyes.
someone told me darkness would be the most brilliant in our eyes :]
