Nevermind
I'll never tell another soul
I'll never give the trust away
I wish you would just take me whole
Confide in me like an empty page
A thousand words in black ink's stain
As the thoughts wax and wane
I'll never find the words to say
I just want things to stay the same
But we can't stop the seasons change
Or the moons gentle phase
We can't change our parents' ways
Or the pain that radiates
But in this moment we have the reigns
I could never make you stay
There's freedom that can't be taken away
It keeps us hopeful for a new day
It's the freedom that keeps us young and alive
Without the call we'd surely die
With nothing but what's set ahead
We'd both be better off dead
Maybe that's why we do the things we do
Getting drunk and breaking rules

Just to tell you,
I'm still alone here in nights.
Just to tell you,
I haven't still moved on.
Just to tell you,
I'm still looking for you.
Just to tell you,
My days aren't days without you.
Just to tell you,
My blood sets on fire when I see you with her.
Just to tell you,
I can be enough for you,
but then I see you with her,
dancing in the rain of happiness.
and then I see her,
looking at you with the same look,
I used to give you.
Isn't it just so strange,
how quickly night and time changes?
What a shame it is that,
you were so close to me like a shore to a sea,
but now you are so far and trapped in our own mind,
that you don't even have time to listen to what your heart is saying.

She was made of a million scattered pieces
and particles of dust
she fell too hard
and loved too much
Her soul deeper than the ocean
and her heart was a war
Love was soul food
sheathed with trust
She was a woman everyone loved
only to leave behind and walk upon
She never grew tired of the pain left behind
Instead embraced them as her own
But that never deterred her spirit
For she only picked herself up again
Finding someone
to heal with all the love that remained...
There are some women you'll meet in your life who'll change your perspective about love. They are the ones who'll heal you of the pain others have left behind, they are the ones who will give you a part of their beautiful soul, the ones who will make you their world. And most often than not, you won't realize that they are the ones in dire need of love - because they are the ones who've been walked upon a million times, they are the ones constantly healing people, forever overlooking their needs.

All matter is fluid
She believed
As she passed effortlessly
Through the concrete -
Then realizing the passage
Was in imagination only
She felt the warm blood pumping
From her skull onto a
Cold factual sidewalk.

it's a pleasure to see
the way you move
when your bones can't settle
because running through them
is the pulse of music, the dance of life
it's a pleasure to watch you
lose yourself in what you love
to see you know the words to every song
and be so nonchalant
as if you don't hold all the magic in the world
it's a pleasure to see you be passionate
when the fire burns in your soul
and you are starry-eyed all of a sudden
as you speak about what you love,
and you climb every mountain
to do what you find comfort in
it's a pleasure to feel the way you love
your heart is open in every edge
and you would give it to anyone if you could

it's a pleasure to see you be
for you are a wonder in every sense
i love to be amazed at people

Risk

Risk is everywhere.

To cry is to risk being sentimental.

To dream is to risk being disappointed.

To laugh is to risk being a fool.

To love is to risk not being loved in return.

But when we are not willing to risk,
We don’t grow in life.
Life loses its power.
We may be safe
But
We are lifeless.

*The greatest risk of all
Is
To risk nothing.

My tongue flicks
Absent mindedly
Discovering and rediscovering
The new sensation
Of a missing tooth
Or a kernel of food
wedged in my gums
Or a ****** cheek
Bit ferociously while chewing.

In my same manor
My thoughts stroke
the idea of you,
Feeling for any new details
i may have missed
My first time
across your surface.

a mark, wrinkling
beneath your eye
a small  tattoo
above your elbow
a delicate crease
where your head
meets your neck.

Subtleties of self
are everything to me.
you hold your cigarette
between hits,
bent backwards between
thumb and *******
as if subconsciously,
you know
you’re damning yourself.

You hold your elbows
When you cross your arms
As though you are afraid,
Should you relax your grip
The contents of your chest
Will spill out before you
Like a toppled canister
Of produce remnants,
Juicy, sloppy, and sopping

But you speak quietly,
like a discarded bag
of shredded documents.
Rustling with partial importance
I try to piece together
your comments
almost as though your words
hang beneath the weight
of your breath
as an afterthought
of your exhalation.

I watch you
watch me,
calmly calculating
baiting conversations
with tactful insinuation
and later,

in deep rumination
they replay.
I select the moments
That fit the narrative
I've created,
rummaging through
until what I want
you to mean
is all I hear you say.

Serenity passed through the mountains,
Through green pastures,
Through a silver moon,
But my Love?

Passes through wars -
Falls in blood and tears,
Turmoil, and doubt;

But always -
Falling deeper in Love for you.
