My twilight
Oh delirium, how much I have grown in-love with thee at this hour near morning twilight all hazy in the brain in deciding whether to see you or to drop my head asleep, accustomed to the bewitching time and longing to see that lingering daylight break, a dreamy state of thus, this moment wondering...

Folk tails
Wander of a Summer's night whilst swimming in the energy of neighborhood folk playing at the park in a bathe of warm dusk air,

Nightfall blankets the chatter and laughter of friends a like with whistles fluttering off thy breath to the tune of their pitter patter against the mat of green grass all perfectly groomed...

For soccer matches and picnics, plus the occasional BBQs or to this present moment an evening dog walk, tails wagging.

the sun has that certain haze
as if it were the dead of Summer
and heat radiated through the air

but

this is a tease a reminder of those days
because indeed the air is fresh
and sharp as it should be in Winter

at the seaside a roaring song and dance
those distant waves appear as a range
the ridges of a desert mountain top

and

silhouetted at depths with the vibrance
of sunset hues bringing shade to the wild
while preparing for the cool of night

the reflections are shorter now
and I lose sight of that glowing orb
as far off clouds take shape to dip

then

colors shift to violet, navy and maroon
leaving a bruise to bumps in the night
and dream of an August day by the sea

Her slow decent
Feels like an eternity
waiting for this red globe
passing in the night
upon my April day
so full of charm
I feel giddy as fourteen
much wonder in
this mesmerizing energy
worlds apart we are
adventurers in the sky
good bye moon so bright
smile shades my slumber
in sweet memory
of her slow decent.
Thank you, Blood Moon. Dedicated to my wifey.

Yesterdays dream come true
It rained and I smiled my face open and free with a bird singing my song, atop that tree swaying with the gentle breeze while the sound of waves crashing and children laughing fill my ears, and the bird sweeps off into the sky crying its cry of welcome and goodbye, laying here now and watching it float away wishing I were there too remembering the good and forgiving the bad without emotion if I could and thankful to be so in touch with my soul, breathing to a beat of the world round really feeling and understanding our place in the universe, a giggle escapes my throat as if telling me that everything will end in that laugh the sorrow, agony, pain of all that suffering we put upon each other, wanting to be a child again without worry of tomorrow reminiscing of a better time when my spirit had not been broken by the inherent emotional damage we humans inflict because when it comes down to it, all that it takes is a decision to accept or deny and unfortunately and without reason we deny instead of embrace, how sad that this corruption of behavior even exists so I weep and then I roll over and look upon the ocean, and a calm takes over me and in that moment I am alone with God and I feel that with a positive outlook all will be okay, still I will never be able to understand the disappointment and I know it is part of living, and I dream, oh how I dream of the simpler life I will one day live…

Dream of sunshine
For through these moments
and all of this time

Was an instance of
releasing the control

Of looking for sincerity
in spontaneity to be real

To seek instead a way
of being that just flows

And in doing so giving
trust to the surroundings

With hands and heart held
open to whatever happens

So that there is no worry
no contemplation, no undoing

Instead what is found is
simply grace and easiness

Then the calm rushed in
so silently yet instantaneously

With sweet dreams of the
sunshine tomorrow brings

Thy december rose
Oh senselessly dim you are

Quite different from Spring
But vivacious all the same

Not what is to be expected
A happy surprise nonetheless

While daylight hours lacking
Wait for thy sun to fade

Smiling at tomorrow still
Just enjoy this small life

Alas she does not want to go

Leafs
Come little leafs
Said the wind one day
Come over the meadows
With me and play
Put on your dresses
Of red and gold
For summer is gone
And the days grow cold

No tumbling down
Truly there is no such worry
which shall turn your heart
away from this moment
where at present last
we can not find any other truth
yet to savor right now and
leave today and tomorrow
a distant thought to be
either forgotten or yet had
so we stay present of mind
and bring calm to those around
for never shall there be
a reason to make all the cards
come tumbling down

Sliver
There are so many places and spaces for truth to be found all around in any particular way so never stop looking for what you may not know is there waiting to discover the honesty of that moment in a sliver of time which will make an elegant memory painted as a picture just in mind for this rainy Winter day.

Imagination now
Did you hear that distant murmur of imagination?

The door is open wide to make all the dreams you can possibly dream, a reality

This mustn’t be of surprise because every time you set your mind on a goal it eventually becomes part of the present

Apply your wildest hopes to the checklist and start moving toward those, you shall find them easier to attain than you once thought

Truly it is all within your grasp and the only barrier is of ruminating upon fear

Let there be no distance between you and your imagination

Allow yourself utter freedom to find joy and create space for making it all happen

Now, right now… please

understanding

In her heart
is warmth
beyond the sun

She will love
thee and the

I see you
“What happens now?” she said, as they gazed upon the ocean atop a cliff of no return and it seemed the options limited.

“You’ll have to wait and see,” replied the sky with its hue of deep blue and wispy clouds floating about aimlessly.

“This must be a lesson,” she acknowledged, and began to ponder the varied circumstances surrounding her worry.

“Indeed,” whispered the pine tree weathered by the storms it had soldiered throughout the decades of standing tall.

“It is a lesson in patience!” shouted the ant, with voice barely heard yet tireless duties indispensable to the surroundings.

“I see you,” murmured the girl as the wind cradled her shoulders like a mother’s hug and guided forward on.
