Piensa en mi

No words escape me  now
Only darkness
One candle for the night
Wine to bring me sleep
Will you ever think of me?
I caress the thought of you
My tears wash your fears
Yet I sit alone
Nothing keeps me sane
Without you
When will I have your embrace?
Your heart
My life dances on nothing
Until I have you
In my arms
Quiero
Sin ti
The love I never met

Bullying is not confidence
Deceiving is not intelligence
Lying is not outwitting
Disparaging is not bravery
Shouting is not a better way to be heard
Preaching is not the equivalent to love and harmony

Kindness and compassion
Are not words they are actions

Those of deceit
Often delete and retreat
It is sad to see people disparage other peoples work, and not have the maturity to ignore poems and poets they may not like. Its also sad to see assumptions and false accusations by people who preach peace. I am touched by the poets here who have helped me and encouraged me, and I wish you all a very very Merry Christmas!!

As you are a Saint
They two are angels
In my little heaven
Where gardens are grand
Flowers always in bloom
Sentiments flowing under the moon
I dream of a kiss
sharing these words with flowing curves
Of delight
Bringing heaven down to earth
How absurd?

God called upon me tonight
Collect
I couldn't accept the charges, hard times

I was ******* poetry
Right out of the womb
Now I am ******* poetry
On the way to my tomb

One you escape from
One you do not
Life is a dead end
Suicide is a hope

Walking along dead end streets
Losing memories and endless sleep
Running away from fears unknown
******* away moments, a life stolen
Inspired by a poem I found that I had written when I was around 7 years old.
The title is an anagram.

Thieves in the night
Playing with copyright
Poisoned pens
Vultures in the den
In the Palace of hypocrites
Tea served at ten
If only the winds of the sea
And the rains of the sky
In a massive hurricane
Could sweep the Palace on by
Inspired by the book "The Palace" by Paul Erdman

Roll it
Lights out
Whiskey sour
As I relive my incandescent whims
My life condensed to reels and reels
Of illusions
I stare in the darkness at squandered youth
A cinema of one
Coming undone
The glass falls to the floor
Echoes in the night, Ekerö's in the night
Oland also, ancient islands dancing out of sight
Islands kissing, waters whisper rippling
My sadness wrapped around
A prism in time
The director holds me bound
Movies never end
Until the obituary comes a singing
At the door, never to be opened

We used to be four
Ancient voices
Existing no more
Never refuse the last dance, hold onto dreams, and rommance
