Someone told me that "why don't you just die?"

And it hurts me a lot and now I'm dying

Unpolished Ink
Mourn for drowning suns
Dying colours drink the light
Night baptised in flame

Gabriel Girault
As an arrow flies throughout the sky,
it remembers its journey.
How it was
crafted,
Stored,
readied,
and launched.
He remembers the days where all he did was sit and think,
where he wished to be free.
Now that he is free he realizes that all is not how he dreamed.
He was heading towards a target,
one that he did not ever dream about.
He was going too fast.
All he cared for was life as it was,
but now as he flies through the sky,
breaking the air,
he realizes he wasn’t ready.

A Drink

Why am I still awake
I sit here waiting
I know what will help
Ah yes that's better

The haunting voices
The painful memories
I drown them out
With every drink I down

And yet every time
I seem to forget
The alcohol never kills them
Only makes me reminisce

Because rather than forget
It does quite the opposite
I dream of the past
And escape from the present
wrote this the other night.

I weep daily............
Not
Due
To
My
Pain.
But,
After weeping i feel so much relief
of
Burden.

I feel so much relief after weeping..Weeping is need to be strong one.
It's also an exercise to remove extra burden of mind, after weep we feel in relief.
Thanks for reading my opinion.
is there going to be a change
of administration
or will the status quo still be
leading the nation

with the election being
one hundred days away
that's when the citizens
get to have a final say

both candidates are hoping
for a decisive win
but only one president
can be voted in

when early November arrives
on the scene
we'll have an idea as to who'll
fill the oval office screen

presently Trump and Biden are
pitching their spiel
to an electorate who could well
alter the tiller at the wheel

is there going to be a change
of administration
or will the status quo still
be leading the nation

This rose color makes me sting,
Its petals bite my soul like a knife,
Thorns pierced my heart,
My grin is lost in the dense forest,
That rose reigns in that dense forest.

Blood tears coming out of my eyes,
just like,
dew drop of the rose petals seen,
My heart is thundering like a cloud,
Tears like raining in dense forest.

These rose colors are like my sorrow color,
Red color is like the blood of my loved ones who died,
White color is like shroud of my loved ones who died.

Rose makes my eyes restless,
My heart soulless,
I do not want to see them,
But in my dense forest, roses are roses.
This poetry is based on Imagination
in which i am the part of such dense forest where only roses and roses, every roses are cause of my pain..its make me restless.
But after i'm part of such forest.
where only pain resides.

Arachne

Flawless is her art
Life now drips from every thread
Silk now spun in dark

New day, new haiku!
Now that I've done with the Pleiades, I'm back to other women of myth!
This one is for Arachne. Now she always stood out to me.
The myth I grew up with is that she was overly arrogant and proud about her talents. Athena challenged her and well, Athena lost. Even the Goddess of Wisdom and Handicrafts was in awe of Arachnes work. As Ovid said, Athena couldnt find 'a fleck or flaw—even Envy can not censure perfect art'. But then, Arachne didnt portray the gods in a good light either. (Tbh, most myths are about the Gods being ******* to humans AND each other). Athena tore the loom, in jealous rage and we all know what happened, Arachne became a spider. There are in fact two alternate stories with the same ending. One is the one I grew up with, Athena cursed her to be a spider, but the other one is that Arachne ended her life as the Goddess destroyed her proudest work and she was turned into a spider out of pity. Either way, I was alluding to a spider with the last line. Ironically, while writing this, I saw two spiders in my living room and several baby spiders in my garden.
Which doesn't help my arachnophobia 😅😅😅
