Him
Suspended in time
Weightless and unworried
We hang on to the moment
Sedated magic unhurried

His scent is captivating and wild
Forever embedded in my brain
Masculine and crisp
A few hints of the earth after a rain

Insecurities held at bay
I live inside your sanctuary
Your embrace keeps me safe
My senses relaxed and unwary
Depression manifested by isolation

Communication is more important than ever these days so how I do I tell you that I wanna run away?

Change my name and get a new look because I’ve been locked in this cage for over 96 days.

It’s summertime and the living isn’t easy.

LIVING
             ISN’T
                       EASY.
This poem is really about living in isolation during this global pandemic we’re all facing. I really feel like I just want to run away and start somewhere new. How are you feeling during this time? Enjoy the poem and leave a comment below❤️❤️

Sadly, I've forgotten the melody
You can always tell a self destructive writer
By their poetry

Because sometimes they are redundant
And other times they are expressing pain

But they always tell a story of being hurt
And locked into their own head

But this my dear, is why they write
Because the person in their head is trying to get out

Self destructive writers
Are usually dark

But when they are light
They tell you how perfect you are

So that you don't do the same thing
That they did to themselves

Self destructive writers
Don't want you to make their scars
On your arms
To all those out there who are this way, trust  in your loved ones, you will get out of this. Thank you for encouraging other people to be who they are.
Poems aren't written,
they're found,
Somewhere in your head the words are waiting,
They're sprawled across the floor,
You just need to pick them up,
Make a path with them,
Let your path guide observers,
And if you can't write,
Walk down somebody's else's path first,
First poem I've written, to anybody who reads this is hope you enjoyed it and it made you day a little better
To Love a Writer
you must be brave,
eager to read
the words
you would rather
hear.

To Love a Writer
you must be prepared,
for days hidden
from the sun,
a symptom of
the disease.

To Love a Writer
you must be crazy,
ignore the insomnia
and fight
for attention
at night.

but know this ..

If a Writer Loves You,
their Love is complete,
you are amazing to them,
they will dream
of you often,
in ink forevermore.
