liquid sugar

Cold tap water, colder shoulders
are you mad or still waking up?
When is the last time you slept through the night?
or better yet, spent the whole night inside?
What are you looking for out in the street anyway?
This road's been a dead end since the first time
you let the liquid sugar hit your veins harder than your lips,
and instead of sips now you indulge every day just to get by,
but I still don't get why you let yourself get that bad.
You forgot about the daughter, mother, friends you had,
didn't you?

We didn't forget about you,
the sugar still turns you white,
even in your casket I can smell the apologies as I bend over for
one last goodbye,
I refuse to watch a family breakfast crumble
at the hands of ****** again,
I refuse to let a substance win,
like it did with you.

guy scutellaro
blue checkered jacket
the cloth faded.
kneeling onto yesterday
holding on to tomorrow
her leathery tan hands cup
a wrinkled  tired face.
the white tasseled hair and the bulbous nose.
hope has left her eyes,
the light has turn to rain.
beneath a torn brown skirt
short varicose  bowed legs
forever journey to no place.
everything she owns in a big paper bag.

She has no home.

Farewell

Farewell to heart palpitations and sweaty palms
Goodbye to quick breathing and butterflies
Hello to a numb heart, cold and unfeeling
Lost in a daze of what ifs and maybes
Do I want her
Do I want this
A never ending cycle of toxicity
I warned you to stay away
And yet you keep on pushing
Stay away from my friends and stay away from me
I don't need your vile presence soaking up my inner peace

My heart is addicted.
A love it can not grasp.
Withdrawal is an infernal hell.

Nostalgic for the heaven in your arms.
Angelic chocolate eyes drowning me in an ocean of love.
Strawberry lips entrapping me in crystal skies.

Breathing abandonment in like oxygen.
Left on the shelf with books you never read.
Bleeding wounds and running on empty.

Loving you was breathtaking.
Now I am left breathless.
Addicted to wanting more.
ink
i thought i had
a tattoo of our
love somewhere
deep inside me
but maybe our
passion was
ink from a pen
a heart shaped
drawing on the
surface of my
pale skin that
a river of tears
washed away
after all those days
I begged and begged
for you to stay
and you didn’t
I Use To Love Him
To remember love the way it had been, in the beginning of it all.
Our first kiss, holding hands, our first-morning breakfast together
And the memories we created, the pictures imprinted
In our minds of happiness, the sheer wonder of new love & how good
It felt to love somebody.
To argue & makeup, cry and suddenly feel the temporary sting
Of disappointment & heartbreak just to get back together again
Unconditional  love.
I use to love him
Leaving clothes around the house & watching the T.V way too loud
As annoying & distracting his presence was felt, a smile crosses my ******* face
As he manages to make me laugh
I use to love him
The way he held me close as we cuddled on the couch, I’d fall asleep in his lap or the
Private moments of loves embrace, his caresses soothes my childlike mood and my
eager enthusiasm to remove his clothes he reminds me, patients was essential
In reaching my goals, I fell in love with him
The one I let get away!
I use to love him!

Sometimes we remember our old loves ,but this doesn't mean were meant to be just that their presence may have taught us something!
every letter in my poems
has been carved from the contents inside my heart
with every dancing lines and singing words
exposed sorrows
every lyrics portrayed loneliness
akin to the approaching rain
rain that has been hiding from the sky
that will come out when the sky cannot hold the weight anymore
yes
this is just a piece of paper that i use
to be written with my bleeding pen and make the blood as an ink
blood that came from my heart
i wish you will know that you are the reason
why i write these ****** letters
you are the reason why these poems has been crying
you are the reason why there are teardrops on my poems
teardrops that i use to erase this loneliness
but i didn't expect that these papers will be broken
to the point that you cannot see the line anymore
the line that says
"i love you"

but what would be the reason that you will see
there is already an owner of your heart
i'm hoping that this loneliness will fade through time
and i will make a new poem
and you are not the reason anymore
why my poems was crying
not with loneliness
but my poem will cry
because of
joy

I believed in you

I believed in you

I believed in you

And you taught me
A most important lesson
I quickly learned
To not believe
Or trust
In anyone
Or anything

I believed in you
**And you let me down
For lots of things... People, things, ideas... Pretty much everything in my life. I still haven't learned
