Pain of falling leaf
Beauty of new growing bud
That's how the life grows

~~~Jawahar Gupta~~~
"A home" -
the name itself captures
a beautiful imagery in our mind & heart.
I see people each day
rushing back to their homes
soon after the working hours ends
ticking to the clock..
And I sit, just sit for a while...
thinking my home is far..
As I stay in a rented place -
a so called home which I call
for a while..
But I miss my home
A home - "where my beloved family lives..
a lively space with special people's heart
making it precious as an overall art.
Missing my family from far..not that far
but not nearby though..
I close my eyes and at once its mute echo chimes
I listen and interpret the lush lilting lyricism
Of nature's sultry emerald chanteuse
As the chorus of everyday cacophony subsides a subtler sonnet is crafted
And upon the lyre of thoughtful psyche a cord profound is struck
I open my heart to the wordless whisper of Creation's vital hymn
I fete my soul and intuit the soft sensual throb of infinity's passionate pulse
I clear my mind of mundane traffic
To yield a higher concentration expansion
That the exquisite rhapsody of hush may be relished without clutter's jam
I close my eyes and its womb of calm envelops me
Content I reside at the aphonic court of its vast placid empire
The eloquent serenade of its sublime soundless concert
Steeps me in its solace
The still deep music of silence the sweet unbroken score
Of Pax's savored measure
I wrote this poem in celebration of nature's quiet beauty and the insight peace and comfort it always brings me.  Stop take a deep breathe and reflect.
painter boy,
your skin as brown as oak,
stretched over a body of pure godliness,
I am speechless,
I admire the beauty in every move you make,
every blink,
every turn,
every fidget fascinates me,
you speak and a stillness strikes my heart,
your words full of honey and raindrops,
bringing a wave of calmness over me,
you make me feel at home,
you're so full of life,
yet so mysterious,
you call me beautiful and a rain falls from my soul,
it is as if i have released a weight of infinite tons,
you make me smile as i look at you,
i don't know much but i know everything,
we stare at eachother and i see and feel the passion within our gaze,
i've gotten lost in your eyes and now I've made this beautiful brown galaxy my home
Sweet Morpheus greeted me
On the grand patch of risen grass.
I lie down for a nap
Feeling vitality seeping through the dew
Which kisses the blades
Every morning and night.
The cirrocumulus and their kind
Casually flocking in the sky
I see the shapes in their crevices-
Reminiscent of something playful.
I put my ear against the earth
Not really listening,
Flecks of soil graze my face
Like a massive comb
Grooming softly
With tickling sensation.
Suddenly,
A crackle heard from the distance.
A dynamite? A firework?
A flash of lightening aimed specific?
I do not know.
I do not know.
I throw my hands towards the clouds
Soliciting them to take me away,
Lift me up to join their somnambulism
Above the ground
Detached
Like sleep paralysis.
From up here,
Everything seems nice
Because it is not vivid
Nor intimate enough
For concrete judgement.
This makes it easy to romanticise.
Reality is surreal
Surreal is happening,
Set me down in my nest on a plane of human existence
I’ll sleep through the evening
Through the noon
And the screaming
I’ll imagine
It’s something I don’t have the power
To stop.
I’ll pretend
It’s the music
That powers the rain.
I’ll escape with the stratus
Dreaming
I was in a position
To make a difference.
A plaintive song a black bird sang,
before he took to flight.
He did talk to remind me,
to be cautious of night.
I did see as he did fly,
he left a gift for me.
Some of what he ate that day,
flew right upon my knee.
Though he was so black as night,
I sent him a wish strong.
Telling him I was of light,
and knew I’d feel no wrong.
For the night has stars so bright.
They dance yes every night.
I have angels round me now.
Their cool and out of sight.
inspired by Timothy. Just as I finished a black bird decided to sing. He approves. :)
Falling in Love with you was like drowning in an Ocean.
There came a point when
My lungs stopped screaming.
Panic turned to Peace.
I closed my eyes and there was calm.
